Croccantino de foie gras at Osteria Francescana.
I dont recall @azizansari having this deliciousness on the show but we had looked forward to this dish since #chefstable season 1!
Foie, balsamic, cinnamon and more... Move over magnums, these are the real treats!
Oreo cheesecake - so I was experimenting with cream cheese making process at home. To some extent it was successful and a healthy option too but nothing beats the phily cream cheese and the exquisite taste and flavour it brings to the classic Newyork cheesecake. Remembering this oreo cheesecake that I have baked few moons back . Oreo cookie crust. Phily creamcheese infused with orange flavour. Cream cheese topping and hot chocolate sauce to serve. #sinful#cheesecake#oreo#oreocheesecake#cheesecakelover#creamcheese#hautecuisines
Caesar Salad in Bloom at Osteria Francescana.
Speaking of Master of None - we personally love it more since Season 2 kicked off in Modena, where we spent the first day of our honeymoon last year.
Talk about being lucky! We booked the restaurant in April just before the awards, dubbing it #numerouno in the world 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Chef Massimo really played up my favorite salad by adding my favorite colors!
Where do I begin. Sadly enough this was one of the most loveless and equally tasteless desserts I've ever had. This was the Kygo Cloud Nine "S'mores" at Beauty & Essex (sidebar: did Kygo really endorse this?). I should have paid more attention to those menu QUOTES before ordering because this was a far cry from s'mores in look and taste. A mountain of bland marshmallow...not one, but TWO too chewy chocolate tortes...barely a dusting of graham crumble...and a random blue streak of something that tasted like cotton candy (really pretty to look at by itself, but totally F's with the taste combos and plating). I was thoroughly confused and disappointed after attempting to eat this :( plz improve.
Sisters curry mee. On first impression by name, I expected this dish to be similar to our typical singapore curry sauce with noodles. However, it turned out to be somewhat Tom yum soup based without much sourness and less flavour. I found out that the sisters (grandmas now) are from Thailand and later on, they settled down in Penang. Thus, it explains their culinary style for curry mee. Served with yellow noodles or beehoon, topped with some pig's blood and others ingredients - you may be intrigued by it. I do recommend you to share 1 bowl amongst your friends especially if you are expecting singapore style curry. See if it suits your taste buds before ordering more. Otherwise, for singapore style curry mee, I recommend other stalls.
