Полюбилась мне индейка в сливках! Да и вообще #сливки это идеальная добавка в приготовлении пищи, а если добавить #чеснок дак вообще шик блеск красота))) А так то скоро в эфире начнутся рецептики! Сама их уже заждалась 😇 и те самые #сырники тоже появятся!

I met chef Margarita for the first time during Asia's 50 Best in Feb and she is such a humble, caring and loving person and has such an adventurous mind. She presented 3 dishes all incorporating local ingredients in unexpected ways.
The first dish with local crab meat dressed with vinaigrette was sandwiched between fried gnocco made with local winter spinach which is usually just used for stir fry. The milhoja was topped with crab roes and complemented with sabayon and dried mullet roes, another ingredient of which Taiwan is famous for. Local baby corn was a reminder for us of her country, Philippines, which consumes a lot of corn. It was presented in a very interesting plate (see pic 2). The fried gnocco were so good, I wish they served extra pieces for me.
(Pic 5 & 6) Pappardelle with Salted Eggs, Asparagus And Pork Fat Oil - pasta with salted egg white sauce and egg yolk on top and pork smoked pine and guava. Such a smart way to utilize salted egg, a common food in Taiwanese everyday cuisine.
(Pic 7&8) Lamb Glazed with Coffee and Guava Jelly - lamb cooked with coffee beans, gluten free cookie, yellow tomato, guava coffee sauce. The control of coffee bitterness and balance with guava was brilliant.
She was so kind and gave me a bottle of crab fat (ok actually it was for my brother but I kidnapped it before he even knows it 😝 but it is CRAB FAT!) and also these amazinf chocolate which came in sea salt, chili pepper, rosemary and milk and honey. Thank you so much! I cannot wait to have some crab fat with hot rice!
