I am quite sure we all have moments when we say "tomorrow, I will start tomorrow" and then you wake up and hit the snooze button. It happened to me too, many times. I made a decision long ago, that I can do better. I really can. And I struggled time to time during the process. "Most of us have the capacity to be happy and calm but we have not developed this side of our personality. To develop yourself in to real "you" will take time and effort. The characteristics that you want to flourish within you need action plans to bring them out. They are these but probably only come out by chance on few occasions. It is time to make them come of most of the time. (Steve Peters)" This quote makes sense to me today than would have made over a year ago. Trying to change any traits in your personality is never comfortable, putting yourself into new challenge it's not comfortable but it worth it. Even if it fails, I believe it makes you grow as a person a little more every time. Don't try to start over again, try to keep going, failures are just a part of process. Another great day to be alive, to get closer to where you want to be!! Keep going!
It never fails to surprise and irritate me when someone makes a negative comment about fitness meal prep plans: "OMG, how can you eat the same thing 5 days in a row?!"
Well... Do you like pizza? Could you eat it every day? There's your answer!
Fill your healthy meal plans with foods / dishes you LOVE and it stops being a chore. Nourishing your body becomes something you love doing. Life's too short to eat horrible food - healthy OR unhealthy! #fitness#foodie#mealprep#foodprep#lowcarb#MyFitnessPal#goals#healthy
Wet Wet Wet 👌 do you even sweat bro
These girls who still look like they've just been for a larney blow-dry by the end of their workout. Yeah that ain't me 😂😂 Intensity is everything 💯 if it's worth doing, Princess it's worth doing properly 🙌
So....I am doing this "project". There are 100 days left in this year. I know...shocker. Anyways I put up some goals for those 100 days...and one of them I want to share with you. I'm gonna post one thing I am grateful for each day till NYE. I know there is much more than a hundred things, but let's just start there. So don't think I'll spam you on Instagram...just making myself accountable here.
So today I'll just start being thankful for having the ability and the freedom to use this medium to express myself. It is not possible to do that everywhere in this world.
Even after all these years of being focused on my own health and wellness I need this reminder. I've been in a really weird place the last couple weeks and it's been playing a number on my mindset. Pushing out negative thoughts and negative self talk is a daily effort and one I'm not sure I'll ever be perfect at. Progress is progress though and we all need to remember that!
Happy Thursday! ☕️
