On Saturday, I celebrated 29 years on this earth. My birthday was filled with more love than I could have ever imagined possible! In combination with the intense energy of the Super Full Moon, this time has been incredibly powerful. The main message that I received from this moon was to be present, to be very clear and specific with my intentions, and to let go of old stories around people pleasing...to connect fully with my highest self and honor my Truth and intuition. I took that message to heart and have spent the past few days reflecting and digesting it all.
In life, we go through periods of expansion and contraction. It is so important to honor that cycle and recognize when an expansion has occurred and to then give ourselves time to contract and digest. What that looked like for me this past weekend was a huge expansion in my heart on Saturday as I received an impossible abundance of love and birthday celebrations. The people in my life showed up for me like I could never have imagined possible. Then on Sunday, I entered into the contraction phase and spent a LOT of time on my yoga mat. I experienced a huge release as tears flowed through me during my morning practice. That space allowed me to digest all of the all of the experiences, messages, and celebrations of the weekend, and I literally felt all of the love and gratitude I received on my birthday pass through me.
I truly do not have words to adequately express that gratitude that I feel to be alive, to be sober, to have my health, to have such incredible family and friends. I am so grateful that today I can stand unshakably in my Truth, honor my divine Self, and dedicate my life to the service of spreading love, light, and healing. My life today at 29 is truly beyond my wildest dreams. I could not be more grateful for all of the lessons and blessings that got me here. Thank you all for being a part of my human experience and for reflecting the love that I feel in my heart back to me in such abundance. My wish for the year ahead is that we all may experience self-love and peace in our hearts. May we all be happy and joyous and free ✨💗🙏🏼📿

Sich auch mal einen Fehler einzugestehen und sich zu sagen: Fehler machen ist menschlich. Nächstes Mal mache ich es besser. Und selbst wenn die Situation noch so schrecklich ist. Sag dir immer wieder: Alles geht vorüber. In ein paar Tagen schon ist es Vergangenheit. In ein paar Jahren vielleicht schon vergessen. Und eines kann ich dir versprechen: Auch Trauer, auch Schmerz... I’m grateful to be out celebrating my big promotion with my husband who has stuck by my side for the past (almost) 8 years while I was finishing college, starting my career, working around the clock, even up to 90-100 hour weeks when we would go days on end without seeing each other despite living in the same house, nights I would come home grumpy and starving just needing dinner before getting back on my laptop to work more. You deserve an award for putting up with me!! (Side note: I’m also super grateful for the election results in Alabama tonight - that’s a huge boost to my faith in humanity!) Cheers! On this #gratituesday , I am thankful for old friends, good memories, and remembering what you used to love.
As of late, my relationship with Olympic weightlifting has been, well, painful — to the point where I had actually decided I’m done competing. I refused to step on the platforms. I went back to lifting in my Nano’s, if I absolutely HAD to lift. I gave away my singlet. I tried watching a session of the IWF Championships, and I just...couldn’t stomach it. Simply put, the whole thing makes me sad, and if you don’t love something, why fight for it?
But today, my old “platform husband” @junbrah surprised me at NBK, and for the first time in 8ish weeks, I truly enjoyed picking up a bar. It was a beautiful walk down memory lane, back to the days of #coffeesnightcrew and being so eager to learn absolutely everything I could about snatching and clean and jerking. Everything felt like garbage — GARBAGE — but I was able to hit 4kg off of my best competition total. 1kg off my best ever snatch, 5kg off of my best ever clean and jerk. And Jun said “you’re not done.”
I have NO idea whether I’ll ever return to “real weightlifting,” because it’s impossible to chase excellence when you‘re not sure if you love the excellence you’re chasing. BUT, I know this — I love human movement, and I love exploring just how far I’m capable of going. Perhaps, for now, that is enough.
Hey @bradenjenkins — if you’re willing to forgive me for being the WORST COMMUNICATOR EVER, I think I’m ready for some technique work. And some squats. Definitely squats.

How freaking amazing are all of these transformations from the #80dayobsession test group (remember the one that's ALL ABOUT THE ABS AND BOOTY!!!! 😍😍). •
Through these pictures you can see the incredible physical transformations but I think the mental transformations are even more awe-inspiring!! What you can't see from the pictures are the hours of prepping, the struggles, the days where the workouts almost didn't happen because LIFE did. But every single one of them pushed their excuses away and completed their commitment to themselves and their personal test group journey. They are ALL badass beachbody coaches who CRUSHED their goals, stuck to the meal plan with timed nutrition, did ALL the workouts and changed their lives and mindsets in 80 days! Gosh how exhilarating and real that we get to do this too!!
Looking through all their progress makes me SO damn excited to see what I'm capable of 🤹♀️ come January 8th when prep week starts and January 15th 🤸♀️when the program itself releases! Im ready to stick to the meal plan for the first time in a while 😝 I'm ready for my abs to be visible! I'm ready for my butt to have a little more visible muscle and a little less Milano peppermint cookies 🙈😂. I'm also SUPER READY to build more muscle with those loops and sliders that seem so innocent but are the best kind of 🔥
I'm especially ready to do this 80 day journey WITH YOU!!! I'm looking for 10 people who are SERIOUS about getting results, creating Healthy sustainable Habits, pushing through their mental barriers, gaining more self love and generating MORE joy in their days, relationships and fitness!! #gratituesday , my favorite day of the week 😬 my selfie game was lacking today, so here is a little cartoon for your scrolling pleasure 😬 guys. this past week (tues-tues) i have had the opportunity to exercise the gratitude muscle at a whole new level. i am astounded at how 2017 christina isn’t even remotely similar to 2012 christina. recognition of self-growth is extremely humbling. ••• i’ll keep it short: being able to find a shred of positivity in any negative circumstance instantly turns situations manageable...even sort of fun 🤷🏻♀️ your mindset & attitude are crucial. to co-sign on the circumstances of this tues-tues, the universe has also presented me with some very interesting conversations and encounters with two people i had never met before. people i met just doing life. i left both conversations v moved; the timing of each of them was eerily perfect and contributed to this weeks lesson: everything you endure in life serves a purpose. every. thing. and to just highlight yesterday’s post again — you never ever know how the crossing of paths with different people can add to your life (or theirs) ••• on a lighter note, eyebrow waxes rank in top 5 things in life that can turn ANY day into a slay day. always grateful for the 10 min of torture 💆🏻♀️
No matter how many times the scale fluctuates, or a set back gets in my way, I am repetitively reminded that if I set weekly goals and put in true, hard ass work I’ll be rewarded with positive consequences. I’ve got my eyes on nothing but my weekly goals. After years of yo-yo weight loss I know that the key is baby steps & laser focus. ⚡️I’m ready to get to my weight loss goal and take a damn permanent vacation ✌🏼🌴

I’ve never been a meditator..🧘🏻♀️ but floating 💦 helps me practice that meditative state. After three days of intense conference, filled with learning, tools and how-to’s my brain and body needed a rest 🙏💗💪🏼 I’ve come to honour this awareness when in the past I would push and drive on through, trying to create more energy.

If you don't have someone to hold you accountable to your goals you need to get someone (preferably me duh because hello it's my job to help you reach your fitness and wellness goals while continuing to show up for myself😂.. everybody wins) •
My good friend @mollybfit and fellow teammate got to workout through zoom TOGETHER live( as a pop up fit club workout in our crockpot group) and my goodness it was everything!! Both littles got to talk and smile at each other. Molly and I got to jump around in intervals for 20 minutes to one of her favorite HIIT workouts that I have never done it before (yep I've never done turbofire but I'm sure I will eventually!! Especially with our amazing fitness library that has every workout EVER😍😍). And being on screen together made me push SOOO much harder, I may or may not have peed my pants with all the jumping arm punches and jump in jacks 😂🙈🌊💧!!!
Accountability is why our groups are so successful and why we love running them! We are counting on each other to remind us why we started, reminding us to give ourselves grace through the slip ups and pushing us to create new limits! When was the last time you gave up your excuses and pushed through something that filled your heart with so much joy you can't remember what your life was like without it! That's what my monthly groups do for me! I love watching the changes and the mental strength that is forged! I'm so excited to take on new clients this month as we prepare to be OBSESSED with better health in the new year!!! Who's with me!?

We hear this word tossed around a lot, but how often do we seek to understand what it truly means? I seek to comprehend all that I can on a deeper level and I’d like to share with you all. ⬇️
The word pulls it origins from Medieval Latin’s word “gratitudinem”, roughing translating to thankfulness...which is is defined as “conscious of benefit received/expressive of thanks”
Therefore the definition of “gratitude” is: the appreciation of benefits received. ⬇️
I do my best every single day to express what I am grateful for. What you do not appreciate, will automatically depreciate. ⬇️
