“And once the storm is over you won't remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won't even be sure, in fact, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm you won't be the same person who walked in. That's what this storm's all about.”—Haruki Murakami
2017: A stormy year and the most fun I’ve had turning around the sun 🙏🏼 #2017bestnine#gratitude#itchyfeet
Feelings for #2017bestnine . 💛
This has been an amazing year and I am in awe daily that MMC has grown so much and in so many ways. Thank you for trusting me to create for you. This first year has not been easy, but learning how to listen to God’s direction over my own overthinking has been a breakthrough and because of that, I have embraced the challenge to grow in new sunlight. I look forward to so much more with you in 2018! 👩🏼🎨
When it comes to supplementation, there is absolutely a hierarchy of needs – Pre-Workouts, BCAAs, Testosterone Boosters, etc. are nice to have, and may help you address some specific issues, but are not a foundational need. You need to address the basics, the things that are universally beneficial regardless of whatever you fitness goal may be.
Enter the Multi-Vitamin & Omega-3s (more on Omega-3s later). No matter what your fitness goal is, you can and should take a Multi-Vitamin. Your body needs a certain amount of micronutrients each and every day to effectively function. There are many health issues that stem from deficiencies in micro-nutrients, and being low in them can cause some road blocks towards your fitness goals. Just a few of those road blocks include
Inability to recover from training
Decreased brain function, hormone production, decreased energy levels
For the record, it is completely possible to eat enough vegetable to provide there body with all the essential micro-nutrients it needs…but it’s very difficult, not very convenient, and many people don’t (myself included - and I make a concerted effort to eat clean). Thus, this a specific circumstance where using a supplement (multi-vitamin) really makes sense. There are no shortage of options, but make no mistake, you will get what you pay for. I recommend using a capsule or a liquid when it comes to multi-vitamins (it’s far easier for your body to digest).
I would also look for something gender specific (men and woman need different things.) My two favorites are M-Factor Hero (men) / Goddess (women) by @1stphorm.

I am so proud to be a part of this group, everytime I park and see the flag, I know I am serving the country that helped me a lot 🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷

"It's not happy people who are thankful, it's thankful people who are happy."
We take so much for granted every single day, or I do at least. Our home, our spouse, our friends, and our families. .
I'm trying to make it a point to practice gratitude everyday. When's the best time to practice gratitude? Look for one thing everyday to be grateful for. Write it down. Thank God for it. When you have a bad day, go look at that list. .
Throwing it back to this cozy sweater + the most perfect, delicate rings.
I tend to go in jewelry cycles - snug cuffs, dangling + oversized earrings, long necklaces - but things I *always* wear are my silver thumb ring and these two, perfectly tiny and pretty gold rings. ✨
Sometimes I stack them, sometimes I wear them side by side, sometimes I wear them on opposite hands.✌🏻
There’s something nice about having go-to, classic jewelry that works with everything in your closet.
What’s your daily jewelry situation? Are you a no or simple jewelry person (a lot of my clients are!)? Or are you a more is more kinda gal? 👇🏻
[PS - the company gifted me these rings, but at just $60 a pop, they are an easy investment and I have seriously been considering getting a few more. I wear them that much! Thank you @mejuri!]
I wanted to share something with you that has had quite an impact on me over the last few months 💭
Have you heard about the power of gratitude? ⚡️🙏🏼 Lots of studies have found a positive association between appreciating what you’ve got and happiness, wellness, better relationships, more exercise and even fewer visits to the doctor! 🤸🏽♀️
Three months ago I decided to list three things that I was grateful for right before going to sleep 🌜 I've done it every night since and it's amazing how this has now become a habit – I just do it automatically as soon as I stop reading and turn my light out! 👏🏼
Give it a try and let me know how it goes? 😘 Bookmark this to remind yourself 📲
I'm definitely grateful for this trip to Lembongan 👆🏼😍
🔹 Yoga Christmas Calendar - 13th of Dec 🔹
I remember taking my very first yoga class back in 2007 and falling in love with headstand. I felt like the pose was meant for me; and I somehow had the courage to try it right away. Headstand is the king of yoga poses; and it is great for increasing blood flow to the brain, building strength in the arms, shoulders and core muscles, and it helps with energy, stamina and even hair loss! Give it a try! 🤗 #yoga#headstand#sirsasana | 📷 Step Han - Pictures with Love
