Getting some much needed grounding and fresh air thanks to the lovely conservatory! A great escape from a cold Minnesota Fall/winters day! Someone was in there in shorts and sandals! I was so jealous! Grounding level expert! If my toddler wasn’t in a mission I would have sat and chatted with him but alas my little adventurer has different plans and I love to see where is imagination takes us! #mindfulminimalistmama#grounding#freshair#planttherapy
Barefoot earthing in nature is one of the best parts of my day. I am at peace in the solitude of all that the natural world provides. Far removed from the sound of sirens and traffic jams, deadlines, tallying of social media likes & political discord here is where all that is sacred and beautiful lives. •
The senses are one of the greatest gifts this vessel of a body our spirit inhabits gets to experience life through. To experience the simple pleasure and satisfying sight/sound/tactile/taste/olfactory senses is truly amazing! Nothing compares to the senses being awakened and invigorated in nature. Seeing the unique colors of the lush greenery, the sound of the birds chirping while feeling leaves crunching underneath my bare feet, sunshine warming my skin, smelling clean crisp fresh air? 🙏🏻 This is when I feel most authentic and most me: grounded, connected to my higher self, clear, present and always ❤️full of gratitude for my many blessings. It is also paramount for primal thriving health and wellness. What's not to love?

DAY 17: ✨🙏🏼✨
“I am grateful for this meal.”
I am grateful for the ability to feed and nourish myself everyday. I am grateful for farmers markets and accessibility to local and seasonal foods. I am grateful for the experience of sharing a meal with friends and loved ones. I am even grateful for #foodallergies and #autoimmunedisease , two obstacles that I struggle to live with every single day. They often makes the simple task of eating an incredible burden. But for every negative, there’s a positive; from challenge there is triumph. And one of the best things about those struggles has been the cultivation of my consciousness and encouragement of creativity in the kitchen. This picture of autoimmune-friendly stuffed squash blossoms that I prepared two years ago reminds me of those positives.
And with the holidays on the horizon, I am grateful for several local non-profit organizations (@glidesf, @projectopenhand, @sfmfoodbank) and their efforts to alleviate hunger in my community. There's a common misunderstanding that only the homeless face hunger. In a city as expensive as San Francisco, it's not easy to make ends meet. People in every part of the city and from all walks of life, including hard-working people with low-wage jobs, can find themselves unable to afford all the food they need. I am grateful that I can volunteer my time for these organizations throughout the year and especially looking forward to spending time with my volunteer family next week! It’s my favorite way to spend the holidays.
Sorry for the long hiatus. I was in Taiwan for the Road to Success Trip by Young Living Malaysia, came back been busy juggling with kids activities.
What is so special with YL Taiwan. Do you spot the bottles? The bottles are labeled with both English and Mandarin Language. Cute isn’t it? And in Taiwan, there is one limited and special oil; Hong Kuai. So high in sesquiterpenes content and useful to keep us grounding. Widely use by parents with special needs children. There are more options available too. .
Wanna know how EO works for kids and us parents? We are conducting a sharing session tomorrow in Shah Alam. Hello me for more info!
This is part of my yarn stash, with yarn that I’ve gathered on just about every trip I’ve taken in the last eight years. There’s yarn from Peru, Iceland, and the UK, stuff I’ve picked up at craft shows and random yarn shops, scraps from finished work and skeins bought for baby blankets for kids who are in school now. One of my favorite ways to ground myself when I’m feeling particularly out-of-body is to squeeze a skein, feel the texture of the fibers and look at the gorgeous multifaceted colors. Knitting is one of my very favorite mindful activities. We all get to choose how to participate in the world — how do you like to get grounded? How do you create beauty?
Have your grounded your energy yet today?⠀
Visualize roots growing out from the bottom of your energy. Growing down around the building you are in, if you are in one. Cracking through cement or blacktop, whatever is in the way. And growing deep into the Earth. Feel the energy of the Earth. Feel the energy exchange.⠀
Congrats! You have now grounded today!
