Having an unexpected day off means sitting at my favorite place drinking a peppermint mocha & having all the conversations with all the people. ☕ #sabbathday#thankyouJesus#Heseesyou
👉🏻I prayed a prayer similar to this the other day. 👈🏻
🙏🏻That God would open doors for me and my family and that we would have eyes to see them. I also prayed that He would keep the right ones open and shut the wrong ones. ❤️
The arms that hold the universe are holding YOU tonight. Get some rest. It's going to be alright. // posted by @amygrace116 #HeSeesYou#HeHoldsYou
Says Mark at the staff Christmas party: “He’s behind me right now, isn’t he.” #HeSeesYou
We got in some more vintage military medical cabinets. Tables fold up and attach to cabinet sides. They pair especially well with brass animals, barware and handcrafted wildlife.
🎹💎📝 I see you
In the middle of the night
When it's difficult to say
You need me
You need me
I can hear your gentle cry
When it's hard for you to
When you can't see me
I have been here all along crying next to you
I have been here all along laying next to you
I'm crashing into you | “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.”
Romans 8:26 NIV
Jesus remembers you ❤️🌤 #love#permission#recklesslove#Heseesyou#justJesus
I know a lot of you are just starting the adoption journey but MANY of you are HOME with your long awaited son or daughter. And it might be hellishly hard or blissfully fulfilling or a combination of both as you get used to the new normal or realize that for many years to come there won't be a normal.
I see you Mamas and Daddies and Families... and what you're doing matters, and it's not lesser work than those who might be doing "more" for the kingdom because they are freed up to do so. So don't compare your life to those families who seem all footloose and fancy free of past trama, ongoing medical issues, racial tension, family discord, and online controversy.
Just KEEP your eyes on the ONE whose strength and grace you need every hour of every day (especially the few hours before bedtime...amen?)! He will carry you through and He is being made much of in your struggles and in the cries for help and in the moments nobody ever sees. #HeSeesYou#ImProudofYou#AdoptionPortraystheGospel#downsyndromelove#adventuresofAbelandIsla
You guys, are feeling unseen this season? Are you feeling hidden? Let me tell you that you are SEEN. You are known. This week we get to rejoice “in the certainty that Jesus knows you and loves you- in spite of all you’ve done and could ever do.” We are remembered. We are seen. I am seen. I am known. 💞
Tomorrow evening we gather at 6:30pm to rejoice in the truth that Jesus is for us. Join us at Sheridan Lutheran Church 🤗
“The next time you walk to your desk, or your class or wherever you think is monotonous, droning, consistent place of mediocrity, please know God never sends greatness to mediocre places for the mediocrity to remain. He doesn’t send light where light already is. He sends light to darkness. And just to make sure your lamp doesn’t go out, He makes sure there’s ample oil for the journey. There’s oil in that job field. There’s oil in that school field. There’s oil in that relationship field. There’s oil in whatever place you find yourself in. You may not see it on the surface, but it’s there. “ ✨☀️✨ Thank you @realjohngray. We will completely miss you at Lakewood but know God is transitioning you into a new level!! Go God! ☝🏾💙 #iAmNumber8 🙏🏾
One of my favorite online friends mentioned the other day her children don't think their tree is pretty. And this hurt my momma heart because we try so.dang.hard.
I know for me, I know I won't ever hit 'perfect' or 'Pinterest worthy' but the Lord knows I try every day for 'good enough.' He also knows I crawl into bed every night thinking, "Well, one more day when my good enough just wasn't good enough." Let's pray for each other today. Let's pray that we can untangle ourselves, just for today, from that nasty lie that no matter what we do, it will never be enough.
Let's remind ourselves today, and take time to remind each other, "All things work together for good for those who love God." Tag a friend in the comments and let her know, "I see you. More importantly, He sees you. You are enough." Click the link in my profile for today's reflection from the Women's Advent Devotional.
