i’m pretty sure i’m coming down w a cold and/or flu, but do you think that means i didn’t try out the @kenjilopezalt double fried confit buffalo wings recipe??? (i’ll let the photos speak for themselves) (also i wanna die) (but also these were delicious)
Note to self, leftover shredded chipotle chicken thrown in the stir fried noodles with hoison, soy sauce and Chinese mustard is something that sounds kind of strange. Further note, it was delicious and I love throwing things together sometimes just to eat it. Last note, experimenting may eventually incapacitate me somewhat because I almost threw in some ghost peppers just try it.
I’ll use frozen and even canned veggies when cooking, but Fresh is always best! I recently read Thug Kitchen cook book and loved it! I’m saving all my veggie scraps in a gallon sized ziploc. Keep it in the freezer and make your own veggie stock when you have the bag full. (One of the many helpful tips Thug Kitchen had.) So far I have carrot ends, celery scraps, onion peels, and now these babies. Cooking can be so cool!! #bellpeppers#upcycle#colorful#veggies#homecook#dinner#makeyourownstock#flavor
The kitchen is my favorite place. Takeout is fine, once in awhile, but cooking allows you to know what you're really putting into your body. It allows you control over your portions. It allows you to decide what seasoning you want. You choose your ingredients. And in most cases, it's less expensive. The kitchen is not a scary place. #takechargeinthekitchen#homecook#healthyeats#knowyourfood#mealpreplife#paleocooking
