🎙 @garyvee says to close your eyes until you’re 29. Meaning, just put in the work, don’t worry about the things around you. Just work, and build. Well, I’m already 29... so I’m a little late to that.
You’re never too late to start though. It doesn’t mater if you 20, 60, or 90, you can start started today.
Figure out what you want to do, or try, and just go for it. Don’t worry about what others may think. I’m sure people laughed at @thisisbillgates, Steve Jobs, or even @jeffbezos. Look at the amazing stuff they have built that has changed the world?
Go! Get started today.
I hope January is treating you well! Today I want to talk about comparing ourselves to other people and how that affects our happiness. The results in our university are public and available online which I find troubling because just like I'm not curious to see other people's grades, I want to have my privacy and the choice to display them or not, no matter what the score was. I never see anyone else's grades, both out of respect for their privacy and because it makes me anxious since my mind will make the natural leap I know it will make. I want to focus on MY progress, my own academic results. So it always astonishes me when I'm suddenly included in a conversation where people are comparing their results with people who are not even present. I found this deeply stressful and just removed myself from the conversation.
Our grades are never going to be perfect and have nothing to do with our inteligence, but they provide a perfect way of putting everyone in a list and judging them by order. It's very toxic and it makes me very sad to think grades are what some students focus on and believe their inteligence is dictated by.
University can give us so much more... if we choose to see the things that actually matter, and always always put our HAPPINESS, WELL BEING and HEALTH (mental & physical) first.
Trying to get my ass back in gear this morning. I have an intolerance for eggs, but every once in a while I can eat a couple without feeling like I want to die. Keeping my fingers crossed that today is one of those days - bc I really wanted this cheesy salsa scramble topped with avocado. 😋 What can I say...I like to live dangerously. 😅
Don’t let down because we’re just getting started. I know the feeling as I’ve been tempted to set aside my New Year’s resolutions already too. 2018 will be your toughest year yet as you reach new heights and set new goals. With the ‘I can do anything’ attitude you will attract more positive people in your life that will help you along the way!
The only limit to the height of your achievements is the reach of your dreams and your willingness to work for them. ▫️Want the lifestyle of your dreams?

Another work week begins today and actually one of my most important ones as my training is coming to an end and my testing will begin! Any good vibes you can send my way will be much appreciated! 🙏🏻☺️
We are always blinded by the fact that talent is the ultimate trait that a person should have in order to achieve excellence. Sure thing, a person would want to be talented, but he or she cant achieve talent suddenly if they werent born with it. It is hardwork that helps us achieve what we want in life even if we lack the talent. Talent could lead to ego, but hardwork leads to patience and it is the ultimate victor. Talented people should never blind themselves with what they can do, but rather appreciate the importance of hardwork.
On your road to a successful life there will be obstacles in your way, which can cause problems. There will be problems and changes that you can't predict and that's where you have to IMPROVISE to ADAPT to the changes and OVERCOME problems! 📈
