~Throughout the Word of God📖, we can see our God has always been a bit unconventional. He's used unexpected people, 👥unexpected places, 🏝and unexpected circumstances for His purpose, to glorify Him. 🙌🏽The moment you begin to put God in a box, 📦thinking you have Him figured out, you may find that what you thought you knew about God just might begin to unravel..... 🤷🏾♂️
The pharisees hung on tightly to everything they knew, leaving themselves unable to seeing Gods way, yes it was not quite what they expected... The long awaited messianic prophecy was right there before their very eyes and they were unable to process that hey, this does not look like what we expected, when in fact this was Gods plan in flesh....it didnt look like what they expected... how many times do we assume Gods plan without seeing what Hes doing through the eyes of the Holy Spirit? --------------------------
Its kinda cool when you think about it. Our God is that mighty that He can make the supposedly unclean, clean. He can make the barren, pregnant with purpose. He can take the outcasts and make them somebody. He can choose to use who He wants to use and choose how He wants to use them at any time... and yes, God has been known to bend towards a heartfelt and humble prayer...
Being open to the movement of the Spirit keeps you in a place of faith, awe, and wonder.... ready and willing to follow His leading as crazy as it might seem, as unexpected as it may seem, as scary as it might seem. If its God.... you just gotta trust Him and be excited for the next step in this journey...:👣
““For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9
Ah, life's grand quest for personal purpose. (We're so fucking full of ourselves, aren't we?) 🌒🌔🌝🌖🌘
For as long as I can remember, I've dedicated myself to self discovery. Dig, dig, dig. Get stuck. Revelation. Revolution. As growth seeking humans, the journey is neverending. I guess that's the fun part!
As I reflect through this new moon cycle, I'm honoring my sacral chakra. The center for flow and flexibility, creativity and emotions. I feel incredibly tuned in to these elements, it's just that, I tend to become immersed in them.
Over time, we get better at allowing ourselves to be, however we choose to show up for ourselves. Part grounded, part wild. Part aligned, part upside down. Strong, swirling. We are.
I self identify with a lot of things. But in this moment, I simply am. That's the sweet spot. The only place we'll ever need. Here, now. 🙏🏼🐯🍃
Every day, morning and night, I clean my space energetically - renewing my commitment to sacred space in both the space I live in and the body that I live in. Through prayer, ritual, meditation, and magick granted to me through training in the ancient lineage of King Salomon, I hold this space every day to maintain and strengthen my ability to be of service and bring forth positive change at every opportunity.
But Sundays is my day to clean my space physically. I also call it “Funday." I used to believe that the energetic and spiritual aspect was enough - mostly because I didn’t want to clean. But without the physical cleanliness, order, and the regular movement of energy through sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, washing, and re-arranging, it is near impossible for me to be in the flow of my creative process. Cleaning is a physical representation of my commitment to creating an environment of the highest integrity within which I can thrive, heal, grow, and remain intimately and clearly connected to Spirit and Who I Am. And it is ultimately how I create a home for inspiration to choose so it can root, thrive, and bear fruit through me.
Funny how the things that you resist most throughout life are the very things that hold the key to you fulfilling your greatest potential. It never ceases to amaze me.
