10 non-fitness related things about me! Posted this a year ago but thought it might be cool to run through again.
1️⃣ I went to boarding school for the duration of high school. It probably explains why I often try to deal with any issues I have on my own & rarely reach out to people for help.
2️⃣ Prior to that, I lived with my family in the U.K. for almost three years. We lived in a small town called Gerrard's Cross in Buckinghamshire.
3️⃣ I am the oldest of three kids - I have two younger sisters.
4️⃣ I used to spend the majority of my school holidays skateboarding at the local skate-park pretending I was Tony Hawk. I was absolutely rubbish. I hurt myself a lot.
5️⃣ I have a love affair for cars & modifying them. I've owned seven in my life, including three Subaru WRX's worked to their absolute limits, a Stage 2+ Golf R with competition spec audio install & a relatively untouched Audi RS5. Currently selling an 09 STi if anyone is interested 😏
6️⃣ I have completed half of a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce. I doubt I'll finish it, as much as my mum would like me to.
7️⃣ My first job was in landscape maintenance - a glamorous way to put wearing high-visibility shirts & mowing local parks. I also worked as a pizza delivery boy before entering the fitness industry. I ate more pizzas than I delivered.
8️⃣ Growing up I was a huge PlayStation fan. Spyro, Tony Hawk Pro Skater, Need for Speed & Grand Theft Auto were my jam. So much so, I bought myself a PS4 when I moved out, but still haven't yet played it four years later.
9️⃣ My boyhood (and early adolescent) dream was to play cricket for Australia. I played a bit of first grade & in some youth-state squads but gave it away to pursue other things. I still absolutely love the game.
🔟 Favourite TV shows are The Walking Dead, How to Get Away With Murder, Game of Thrones, How I Met Your Mother.

If you want something different than what you have, it’s gonna require you to do things different than what you’ve done.
“But I hate change Kathy”... who really likes change🤔 It’s full of “unknowns” and things I can’t predict and I have very little control of because I haven’t been there yet!
The comfortable choice is easier there is no doubt about It, but it’s where your hopes and dreams for a bigger future go to die way too soon. I swear the best of me has been forged out of those most uncertain times. When I fully surrendered to the “flow” as they call it.. when I wrote down exactly what needed to be done DIFFERENTLY and followed that road map for my body, I saw rapid change! I truly did! What made it rapid was the decision to follow a NEW path...not my usual one. Full commitment is what it’s going to require because the moment you see the familiar out you’ll be headed for the door without really noticing it’s happening! So fortify your NEW choice like a mama bear 🐻 protecting her vulnerable cubs! Don’t let what you want to become BECOME victim to what you have been.
