1.) DEADLIFTS, specifically sumo deadlifts, will firm your backside without a doubt. Your entire posterior chain (low back, glutes, hamstrings, and calves) are activated during this exercise.
2.) HIP THRUSTS or GLUTE BRIDGES. If you don't know who @bretcontreras1 is, you should learn immediately. He's the ultimate glute guy and he programs these exercises regularly. Hip thrusts have also been tested and proven to have significantly higher glute activation than squats (which are more quad dominant).
3.) ROMANIAN DEADLIFTS, also known as stiff leg deadlifts, with great focus on hinging at the hips and driving through your heels,
this will activate your glutes and hamstrings as well.
You can do each of these with dumbbells, kettlebells, or barbells, depending on your skill level and preference.

After gaining about 10 pounds traveling Europe these past two months, I've avoided wearing my bikini. So today, on my last day in Europe, this is my brave thing! Bam 💥. Also- As I do a brave thing each day, I will be helping others to conquer their fears. .
I met Matilde @yglae_ at the pool. It took her nearly 30 minutes to brave her fear. And her brave thing was to loudly introduce herself to everyone at the pool, thus becoming the center of attention. Maybe because it's a gorgeous day or maybe because I have the day off but I am not hating my legs today. They're a love/hate relationship for me. No matter how small I've been, they've never been small. My mom used to apologize to me that I inherited the family thunder thighs but today...I don't hate it. And my thighs touch so I'm one step closer to being a mermaid so that's really winning. #selfloveonatuesday
