Volunteers took calls on @9newsdenver earlier this week to connect more Coloradans with food resources, so they don’t have to worry about when or where they will get their next healthy meal. Anyone can call our confidential and bilingual food resource hotline at (855) 855-4626, or in Metro Denver at (720) 382-2920.
Thank you to the Denver City and County Council for proclaiming Nov. 13-19 as Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week and hosting the Hunger Through My Lens exhibit at the Webb building all week! Through collaboration, public education, and expanded support of entities that increase access to healthy food and a safe place to live, we can create a city, county, and state where all Coloradans have a strong foundation for health and well-being throughout their lives.
This is why they call it #ColorfulColorado ! #coloradolive

It’s been a long day trying to get back on the grind. Maybe the travel bug has got me too bad after all this time. Not that there isn’t plenty to see here in Denver (especially colorful street art—anyone know who’s behind this one by Root Down?) Here’s to a smoother Tuesday.
