Often we get stuck on what we should do and what our purpose is, as if it some kind of heavenly mandate that’s going to smack us in the face and tell us to climb aboard, for a ride where everything is perfect 👌
In reality finding our path is like standing in an open forest without any direction or idea where it leads.
It’s up to us learn and to make a decision based on our FEELINGS, does It feel good or bad? Is it interesting or boring? By walking a path based on our feelings, means we are connected to the body and over time we learn to TRUST our instincts and feelings, in turn it protects our health. We learn to adapt and grow to the people that we are meant to be and then we can look back and see that it was our destiny all along.
Often it’s when get caught up in our heads We don’t listen to our body, we tend to think how are lives should be lived and in so learn to be disconnected in a substandard way of living, in long term this leads to illness physically and mentally.
You could be caught up in your head if you always need others opinions before you make a decision, or if you have had over bearing people with strong beliefs projected onto you, difficult situations that were to hard so you checked out.
How are you going to listen body , how are you going to start walking your path today? It all starts with feeling and the confidence will come later 🌿⭐️

For so long I've cared way too much about what people think of me. I am, after all, a people pleaser. I'm a middle child, and a peacekeeper too. I like to go with the flow and not step on any toes, so to speak. ✨
A couple years ago, I hired a life coach, and to this day, I can still hear her asking me, "why the f*ck do you care what they think?" But the truth is, it takes a conscious effort for me to let go of what others think of me, and I still often find myself wanting to (unnecessarily) ask for permission from others instead of trusting myself. ✨
On the blog this week, I talk about this need for permission, and how asking for help is much different that seeking permission or approval. Asking for help comes from a place of self-love and growth. Seeking permission comes from a place of fear and self-doubt. ✨

Luce, ☀️la temperatura e il rumore sono fattori ambientali da prendere in considerazione. Il buio è molto importante per dormire perchè si ha bisogno di melatonina (la melatonina si libera soltanto in assenza di luce). La temperatura è un altro aspetto fondamentale. 🔥Meglio mantenerla non troppo calda, anzi tendente al fresco❄️ e lasciare a chi dorme la possibilità di coprirsi di più o di meno in base alle sue esigenze metaboliche.Il rumore è un altro fattore che può avere un impatto negativo sul sonno, quindi bisognerebbe evitare ambienti con rumori di sottofondo costanti o la possibilità di forti rumori improvvisi come una macchina 🚗che passa vicino alla finestra, un portone che sbatte, etc.Evita i campi magnetici creati da computer, 📱smartphone, tv e altro.
Evita colori alle pareti accesi e forti come il rosso.♥️Evita il consumo di sostanze eccitanti come caffeina ad esempio.L’alcol è assolutamente dannoso per il sonno.💋

My first experience of fitness modelling came with many lessons, personal wins and challenges.
Some people admire photos like this and look at them and wonder why they don't look the same after a month or so of training, what I want you to know is that in this picture my body may look good but it's depleted and unhealthy.
My hormones are out of whack and I am not ovulating, my brain is scattered, I'm emotional and I am finding it hard to keep on top of my study and work because in the lead up to this I was consuming on average 40gs of carbs per day and just around workouts- which I was doing for on average 2 hours a day.
I am grateful that I made Herbalife smoothies and vitamins a non negotiable the whole way through my prep because they were my main carb and micronutrient source 🙈
I was focussed, and I wanted this end result so bad that I ignored the messages my body was telling me.
Instead of acknowledging the struggle I chose to focus on the goal and the wins within my training.
I believe my PT was a blessing and having weekly sessions to keep me inspired, supported and on track mentally and physically is what made all the difference- that was my favourite part of the process.
It's funny the impact that setting a goal for yourself and making it public can have on your ego.
I am proud of the women in the pictures so please don't overlook that, I was a student and the experience was exactly what I was looking for. I can now relate to others that have used the same methods.
Today I am 7kgs heavier than I was on the morning of the 17th of September, in fact within a week I was weighing 5kgs more! I'm not going to lie it has been hard, and I really have had to give my mental muscles a workout but health is the most important thing to me and my hormones are back on track (yay for babies) and I am enjoying eating the colours of the rainbow again 🌈
I am exploring flexible dieting and working on building a solid base of muscle over the next few months so that next time I am on stage I am fuller- of nutrients, knowledge, muscle and of life.
