#InterEdStories “However, this experience will not be done alone. You will always have people supporting you along the way. From university staff, parents and Inter-Ed. Inter-Ed has helped with numerous aspects of this journey. Since the beginning with advice about university choices, to technical work on university and visa applications, to social support. Inter-Ed has been there throughout the whole process and were willing to offer support wherever needed. Even checking up on you after the application and integration process into the university was finished. This was incredibly helpful, especially since the first few months are the most strenuous when it comes to moving.

From here, my degree has opened up numerous opportunities in career paths and further studies. Many of these branch off into my subject of study, which is marketing. It opened a global pathway that not many institutions offer. Organisations, in a variety of industries, have gained more interest in these types of qualifications and it has provided a stepping stone for further studies into Masters.” #studyabroad #travel #travels #testimonial#UnitedKingdom #DeMontfortUniversity#inspiration #InterEd#InternationalEducationSpecialists#education #educational #studyPh #Pinoy#Philippines #graduation

So far, adjusting to the culture and life in the UK has been easy. It was natural and simple when it came to forming new relationships and growing further into the communities and as a person. With this, the most challenging aspect was deciding how to prioritise time. Being bombarded with new people made it difficult to determine how free time would be managed. Socialising, travelling, sports and other leisure activities took up so much time, the less important aspects had to be sacrificed. Otherwise, there was always a danger of it interfering with studies.

For anyone thinking of studying abroad, it was definitely a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat. The courses offered and teaching styles were incredible and supportive. The new country and cities to explore will never make a day dull. Taking on this challenge is one thing in life that cannot be missed.

Although, with caution. Making this step isn’t a decision that should be taken light-heartedly. At times, living and studying abroad can be overwhelming and the best way to approach it is to break big tasks down into smaller pieces with the most important aspects having priority. When it comes to accepting this opportunity, being open and willing to adjust makes everything easier.

#InterEdStories “Taking up my final year in a strange, new country was a large step. Starting fresh in a place with only a handful of people I knew was a difficult decision. To be away from support and familiarity terrified and planted seeds of doubt into my mind. These were the challenges I faced and will always face when wanting adventure.

Yet all of these challenges were the reason I decided to jump out of my comfort zone. To take a leap of faith. To listen to adventure…

The call of adventure is like a tempting song that beckons you to approach and listen to the unique message.

For me, the new opportunities, experiences, freedom and responsibilities were what convinced me. The adventure in the form of studying abroad whispered the possibilities to live, to learn and to grow. The adventure would further reveal who I was as a person and divulge the world we reside in.

Not once did I regret the decision to undertake the challenges faced when taking up my studies in the UK. It has opened my eyes to different people’s perspective on academic subjects, as well as their ways of life. From meeting and interacting with people from all walks of life to residing in a different place outside your comfort zone, it eases and stimulates change in your own perspective.” #studyabroad #travel #travels #testimonial #UnitedKingdom #DeMontfortUniversity #inspiration #InterEd #InternationalEducationSpecialists #education #educational #studyPh #Pinoy #Philippines
