Made with sweet potato chicken onion and seasonings they were simple make and ima cook them up later hopefully they taste as gud as they look :D
Today's lever training. First 1 was perfect shame about the rest😓 . It's strange how easy it is to loose your ability to do something like a muscle up / lever ect.. when you change the type of bar your working with. I've been training levers on a low square bar and seem to loose ability when I change back to a round bar. It first happened when me and @stephenjparkes went to a beginners #calisthenics class taught by @jamie_geraghty . We were both able to muscle up going to the class but because the bar had a very different feel to it we struggled to get even 1 rep. Have any of you guy's experienced this ??
3 weeks to go and the changes are really starting to come in now, no better feeling than when your coach tells you he is super happy with were your currently at :D . . . Is it to early to do a show tb?? Loved every moment of this...I loved the challenge of having to push yourself harder than ever before. . .
I hear people talk about post show blues all the time... and it's usually down to having abs one day and them being gone the next.
I had a mind set to never do a show unless I'm able to 1st accept that the shape I will be in on show day with only last for one day!
So the fact my body is changing doesn't bother me at all... I'd almost say I'm used to it from going from such a low body weight -to a bulk -to a cut and now back to a lean bulk... but one thing i didn't preper for was feeling down about loosing all my strength in the gym and feeling like I did when I 1st stepped into the gym over a year ago and having to build everything back up again. And not having confidence in my lifts. This has been the hardest bit for me...but I'm sure all you other bikini girls feel the same !! Here's to never giving up

Did you know that in bodybuilding the reason that the 8 to 12 rep range is so affective has more to do with the time under tension it takes to complete? 50 to 70 seconds under tension is optimal for hypertropy.

and having a good talk about the industry and competing.
In an industry where there is so much bs information and shortcuts, it was refreshing to see some men who work their asses of and get rewarded for it 😎👊💥
Throwback to Celtic Games event 3 at the weekend. Following on from a 2 minute window of max power output backsquat (weight x reps completed = score) then a mere 1 minute rest you fired straight into event 3: 15 - 12 - 9 bar over burpees and power cleans @55kg. Going sub 3 mins and taking the win in event 3 was a real highlight of my weekend as I have never been much of a sprinter.
With 3 from 5 event wins over the weekend still not enough to take the overall win it's safe to say there was some legit competition!! Was great to catch up with everyone again and meet some new faces at this one.
