Back when a belt around my "waist" meant DIRECTLY under my boobs (it is actually being swallowed up by belly & boobs in that pic 😂) On the right: new body, same slouched shoulders. Coming up on 2 years keto in February and never more grateful that I finally took my health into my own hands. Currently sitting at 90lbs lost (still up 14lbs from my lowest weight) and feeling good about it. The fact that there is a candid picture of me in a bathing suit & slouching over and I am not disgusted by it (actually I think I look pretty good!) is such a huge #NSV in itself.
More fatbombs Always fatbombs. My go to when I need a treat or snack. I’m making this batch with what’s left of my sunflower seed butter because I’m about to pull it out of my diet for a few weeks. Yes, more restriction. Sure restriction can be a bit miserable sometimes if you let it, but you have to heal, right? I really have to figure out what’s triggering my gut lately. I’ve been ignoring it, in a bit of denial. So I’m about to venture on a short reset. Nope, not a cleanse, just an experiment. That means my current diet, MINUS coffee (even my decaf), strong tea, matcha, chocolate, nightshades, and nuts and seeds. Yup, chocolate. Pray for me. 😂 It’s only for a few weeks! I hope 😳. As soon as my gut is stable, I can sneak things in one at a time and see if I have a reaction. An elimination diet is a great tool if you don’t feel 100%. It could be something you are eating - even healthy healing foods. For example, most bone broths and many fermented foods and drinks are terrible gut triggers for me. But for most they are amazing gut healers. It just depends on what the underlying issue is. Back to the #fatbombs - swipe if you want to see the ingredients. So, my husband came home mid morning while I was out getting these keto finds, and on my way home called me. TO TELL ME HE WAS GOING TO TENNESSEE FOR WORK. I got 5 minutes of 'Omg, you need to pay this bill and did you pack this?' before he drove off to the kids' school to say a quick good bye. Works out perfect because by the time he gets back I will have lost some of the weight I put on, gotten over the sugar cravings and keto flu I'm expecting after the last few days of struggle and yesterday's carb day. I literally didn't eat real food until dinner, and even that was chicken nuggets and French fries. (From frozen)
