You held up the leaf for me and it was then that I knew I had to make a change.
How did I know? It was easy. My favourite season is Autumn and to be honest I kind of hadn't noticed it had arrived. I mean I saw the leaves on the floor but back then they were just an obstruction, another obstacle in the minefield of my mind.
But I don't see it like that anymore. Now, I see a time of year where the trees begin to strip away their layers and expose their naked carcasses to the world and this is what I chose to do myself tio. Here I stand naked giving my heart to you.
During the autumn we naturally focus on the leaves and their changing colour and soon forget the body that once housed all of these lush ornaments of nature and disregard the trunk entirely.
As humans we do this do this too. We get distracted by the little things in life, ? The things that don't really matter and this is when we run the risk of losing ourselves surrendered to our mind with total disregard for our bodies that can only take so much exertion.
But the trunk still stands there whether we choose to avoid it or not and that's what I did. I stripped it back a lay naked and exposed to before you and I achieved so much
I received words of comfort and support that warmed my heart when I felt most vulnerable.
It wasn't easy but I guess neither is standing naked outside on a cold winter night.
Remember, we often get distracted in life, caught up in abundant foliage of duty and responsibility and this is ok. It''s life. However dont forget to take the time to nurture your body in order to make the foliage of your mind even more beautiful.
So, go to that yoga class and buy that cherry lip balm from the body shop but remember the key to good health is in taking the time to separate yourself from duty and obligation and begin to focus on loving yourself.
The first rule is to have vision for your life. ☀️ The second is to believe in your ability to figure things out. 🤔The third is to have fun making your dreams happen no matter how hard it gets. 🦄The fourth is to be patient but always persistent. 🔥The fifth is to respect and love other people who are always playing the same game of life.💜💜 @brendonburchard

I’m so sick of the people in this world. Like I legitimately burst in tears because of the Libyan slave trade stories I’ve been seeing. Where’s the outrage that people have when a fuckin gorilla is harmed? When #45 grabs another one by the pussy? Where are the shares and retweets and national and international coverage?!? A few weeks ago, we were talking about the migrant workers in Dubai and other wealthy countries being treated like slaves. Muslims and non-Muslims are trafficking humans here in the US and abroad. Stealing people. Selling people. Can you imagine being sold? Drugged? Sexually assaulted? And there’s nothing you can do because your someone’s property?
I’m so very tired of being treated like a second class citizen to all the Susan’s. To be seen as less than because I’m fat. Less than because I’m brown. Less than because of my hijab. Doesn’t matter how many accolades I get. I’m still Black. Doesn’t matter where I go in the world, I’m still Black.
This is yet another moment in the millions of moments that lets us know that brown and black bodies don’t really matter. You’re body has to be pale, thin, privileged, and heterosexual to matter. When will wake up and acknowledge the privileges causing other parts of the world harm?
Although, I’m traumatized from the photos of hundreds of Black men bunched and caged up like dogs, this is a wake-up call and a reminder for you and I. The fight never stops for freedom and equality across genders and cultures. We’ve gotta do better as a human race. ✊🏽BlackBoysMatter ✊🏽BlackGirlsMatter
Location: Paris, France
After taking in the stunning views from this intricate, lacy structure I’m glad I spent le week-end à Paris 🇫🇷🥂
I made it to the top of the Tower undeterred by the cold 😅
Would love to explore more of the city, next time will be a longer stay (and warmer weather🙃) #touristythings

This weekend we were at Cahoots (@cahootslondon) - London's only tube-station fashioned bar!
Excellent cocktails, even better music - think early 90s swing parties - and free popcorn! Book your tickets and tables in advance, this tube in Kingly Court gets very busy throughout the night! 📷 @cahootslondon
We are very excited for the 1st December opening of Nola!
Promising live jazz and blues, delicious drinks and an authentic New Orleans theme, NOLA in Shoreditch is a completely unique London bar well worth visiting.
Decked out in the grandeur of the Victorian era, the aptly named Victorian Bath House pulls back the velvet curtain to show you into a world of pure luxury and vintage inspired food and drink.
Sip on the finest cocktails, lounge in decadence and tuck into fine foods from top chefs at one of London's cool restaurant bars. (@victoriabathhouse)

When you spend your Mondays scoffing pasta and catching up with your soulmates you know you've hit the jackpot 🤗 We had the beef shin, sausage and Parmesan pastas with the bruschetta and pork tenderloin to start 🐽I cannot wait to head back @flourandgrape with my RIDE OR DIES @hkwilson4 @lauren9dudley
