I debated if I should wear this dress. I've had it for 5 years and I've only worn it 2x. Both times I was on vacation in cities where women wear wayyyy less clothing. Chicago can be so conservative with the way that women dress and I really don't like the attention that I get when I wear body fitting
clothing. I'm still trying to confidently own my Mommy/fass Auntie body...My stomach still not back on flat, flat😂 and my breasts make it hard to wear any button up top.
So here I am with my curvy hips, round 🍑 and thick thighs saving lives hoping that no one judges me or makes assumptions about who I Am.
Why is it even a thing? Why do I have to worry about someone else judging me based on what I have on or walk fast to avoid the inappropriate, unrequested comments?
I decided to put it on anyway because... 1. I worked for this body
2. I look bangin' in this dress
3. Women are allowed to own their sexiness and not feel insecure about it
Be kind to your body, wear whatever you want and own that 'ish. It's your right.💁🏻
Client 💜 It’s what makes it all worthwhile. Seeing another #girlboss step into her true power and use it for the greater good of others. So excited for what’s to come miss @deannekalda
What about you, what motivates you to bring your best each day?
“I’m very passionate about fitness. It’s very individual and you don’t have to be in a team sport which makes it easier in some ways. I get more motivated and I feel happier when I go regularly. When I’m not going to the gym it feels like something is missing.” Shashank says that the more regularly he goes to the gym the more motivated he gets. “If I stop going to the gym I start eating a lot of junk food and it just has an overall negative impact.”
You have two choices in life. Either be scared, be fearful and live a life filled with dissatisfaction OR be courageous, brave and live the life you've ALWAYS dreamed of. At the end of the day,
your life is a reflection of the choices you make everyday. It's the little things that add up. It's the small actions that turn into habits which then becomes your character.
Who do you want to be? Where do you want to be? Are you doing something today that will get you closer to where you want to be tomorrow? If not, it's time to make some changes....remember the beginning is always hard and tough😑 If you never get started, you'll never be able to achieve your goals, but the start is the most important. Stop procrastinating and quit the excuses.
Soon, you're going to run out of "tomorrows." Get started today. Right now. Do it. Your future self will thank you for it.
Don't be scared. Don't back down from your fears. Fear will either create you or destroy you. Hiding behind your fear is the person you want to be. Fear is self-imposed. It's intangible. If you create it, you can destroy it. Destroyed fear returns as more self-confidence. Face your fears and become the person you want to be.

I am reminded of this quote I heard somewhere along the way about parenting, as I sit in a dark room with my boy while he naps on my lap. He’s sprouting teeth so my koala bear is back, but instead of feeling frustrated with how many things I need to get done I’m enjoying the snuggles. My big baby is turning 18 on Saturday, it really doesn’t seem that long since I was snuggling her on my lap! It’s a little hard to do now with those gorgeous long legs of hers..
The days can seem like an eternity but it’s the most important job we do - I value my role as Mum more than anything. It’s all worth it for the little moments like these, not just for the big milestones. One of the advantages to having 3 children so spread out in ages is that I value and appreciate each age and stage more - the toddler kisses are just as love bombing as the teenager ones! ✨
Today I am grateful that I can spend time with my boy when he needs his mumma bear
Waiting for the right opportunity to come along?
Perhaps there is a way you can start creating it.
1.Do some research
2. Spend 15 seconds in positive thought everyday where you imagine yourself experiencing the benefits of your opportunity
3. Have gratitude for all the things that allready exist in you life that provide you with the same feeling your opportunity will provide for you
4. Be open to trying new things
5. Become more present. Make 15 seconds of being in "no mind" a part of your everyday life
6.Accept where you are now.
7.Lose your fear. Opportunity may have presented itself to you allready but fear may have stopped you in your tracks.
Remember, our minds, aka ego's, do not like change. To our ego change means danger. But without change we stagnate. When we stagnate for too long...our soul's begin to die.
Monday may be nearly over, but we have the rest of the week ahead of us.
Why not use this week to take action on something you are waiting for - no matter how small you think that action may be. It will count, I'm sure #makeithappen#createyourlife#seizethemoment
To be honest, I was really scared of using dark lippies before! Not until yesterday's shoot. Loved the lip shade they used in me!! They told me its @welovemaybelline 's creamy mattes in divine wine 💋🍷#MakeItHappen
The answer may be simple and deciding to is the turning point. But it takes more than deciding. It takes action.
Whether it’s business or personal, it takes action. A plan. One small step at a time.
And even with a plan, you might still want someone to help you push that plan forward.
But first ... decide. And then ... just start. 💫
