And of course got my RPG to get all those delish carbs straight to the muscle for maximum gains!! I took a week off from the gym not because I was tired or worn but quite the opposite. See I realized that as much as "fitness" means to me and as many dreams and goals that I have. It's not what should be the most important thing to me. We as people so often make the mistake, of taking things from life. How much money can I make? How many things can I possess? What we fail to realize is that it's not how much we can take from life but rather how much we can give back. I encourage you to look at your life and see if you're taking more than you are giving.

Booty was round but saggy, no muscle mass and literally couldnt do cardio for shit. I guess I grew some balls overnight to post this because I look terrible in my b4. I have decided to complete share with you guys my journey to self-motivation & happiness. 
The picture on the left was 2 years ago, I was 145 lbs and completely creaky and unhappy. The one on the right I took last night after my legday workout at 149 lbs. I have muscles showing in places I never even dreamed I could have. I'm going to keep my friends and peers updated from now on.

When you spot by the wrists, you prevent elbow collapse. Common objection.... "spot by the elbows, if the elbows collapse, the weight is too heavy." ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ’ฉ
Today I was training a client during the Military Press with 70-80% of his 1rm (meaning he could easily do 8-10 reps), but he was fatigued and the weight began to fall towards his head on the 2nd rep. I quickly redirected the weight back into proper alignment by adjusting his wrists. If my hands would've been on his elbows.... KABOOOOOM, SPLAT, he falls over into the mirror and slices his carotid artery and then he's dead! SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DON'T SPOT BY THE WRISTS, YOU DIE! Don't be that trainer, be an educated one like @bianca_dekker And @jcdabney42 Who are awesome students at The Academy!

Same h and m jeans โœจLeft picture may 2016. 150 pounds lots of muscle but also extra body fat in my opinion. I was eating 1000-1200 calories a day๐Ÿ™„ just coming off from competing my ass off- slow metabolism.This physique is beautiful but it didn't read well in the dance industry. Running was fun today. 
For 30 mins run 1 minute straight at about 80% of your full speed..then hit 3 pull-ups really focus on your technique today. Do this for 30 mins. 
Then hit shoulders. Today really focus on pressing movements. That's how you will build size and power. 
Shoulders will never be the same again because of surgery but I just give it what I got. 
We pressed..then pressed some more. 
Train with conviction eat with purpose.

It's the simple things: like being able to make your own breakfast and going to the gym! I recently moved to Miami, and I was here for hurricane Irma. I'm a mainer so I'm used to blizzards and nor easters but I wasn't really sure what to expect with a hurricane. We spent days lining up for necessities such as water, propane, canned food, and gas. We lost power for 7 days, which in no joke in this Florida heat. We were unable to make all of our meals at home, forcing us to eat out at the select few fast food restaurants that were open. Old me would've loved eating out every meal for a whole week, but the new me hated it. I was feeling super bloated and sluggish. My gym was closed until 2 days ago, due to the aftermath of Irma, making it even more difficult to get back to normal. But here I am today, made my own healthy breakfast and getting ready to hit the gym! You have to make the best of every situation and appreciate what you've got, especially the simple things. -
