Why is it that we spend so much of our time worrying, planning, trying to control things? While the truth is nothing is permanent, we have no control of anything at all, and we are going to die one day... what’s the point of keeping the hands on the controller??? 🤔

**MINDFUL MONDAY** In our next Mindful Monday, we will have a the delight to welcome back the gorgeous psychotherapist and teacher Sylvie Vanasse.
Sylvie will be back giving a short talk and then facilitating an experiential exercise on 'Appreciative Joy', which is to feel genuine joy at the good fortune of others. Such joy is deemed one of the ‘divine abodes’, one of the telltale signs of awakening. That is because it holds many benefits, not only for others, but for us too.
Mindful Monday's Schedule:
7.30pm - Welcome + meditation (20-30min)
8:00pm - tea break
8.10pm - Group discussion/ Teaching
9.00pm close/pack up
- Members: Free + Dana (donation)*
- Non-Members - $5 + Dana (donation)* *It is suggested minimum of $10 “Dana” for teachers when we have them. If you'd like to attend but can't afford this please simply give what you can as we don't want cost to be a barrier to participation.
What to bring: Bring your own meditation cushion and blanked (optional). Chairs will be provided.
