This recipe is once again super easy, and makes 9 small yummy bars 😊 I can't comment on how snicker-sy it tastes, because I don't think I've ever had one in my life. But it has peanuts...so that makes it snickers, right? 😂
•1 and a half cups gf rolled oats, could totally sub for the OG oats
•1 TBSP honey
•3/4 cup of mixed nuts and seeds
•1 heaped TBSP of cacao powder
•1 tsp coconut oil
•1/3 cup @picspeanutbutter smooth pb 🥜
•2 TBSP @ceresorganics brown rice syrup •Handful of medjool pitted dates, around 6 (soaked in boiling water for around 10 minutes)
•Dash of vanilla •Handful of roasted peanuts
•1 row of @whittakersnz 72% Dark Ghana chocolate (melted for the drizzzzzle)
Method: -In a food processor, blend all the base ingredients together. Then firmly press the mixture into a small tin. I used a small loaf tin because I didn't have anything small enough for this amount of mixture. You could always double the mixture to fit a normal tin 👍 -Process all the caramel ingredients together, plus a little of the date liquid if it's a bit thick. Make sure the mixture is as smooth as possible 😊 -Spread mixture over the base, then sprinkle with roasted peanuts and drizzle over dark chocolate. -Leave to set in the fridge before slicing.

When I first started this journey, my health was far from where it needed to be. Despite many years of thinking that I was eating 'healthily' and feeding my body 'good nutrients', I still just wasn't feeling right and I knew that something needed to be done about it. 8 months later and I am feeling the best that I have in many years. I am full of energy, my digestion has improved and my immunity is so strong! My skin is clear, my hair is growing rapidly and my nails are much stronger. Clearly, the benefits of what I am putting inside my body is shining through! 🌸
But, what lights me up the most is that fact that I am able to inspire others to lead healthier lives too!.

True Story: I eat carbs and I love them.
I no longer cut them out or feel bad for eating them.
In fact I don't ever really think about them except when I reflect about how many food rules I used to have.
I know how complicated it all feels!
Should you eat sugar or quit it for life? What about fruit? Should you ditch gluten or just wheat? What about dairy?! Maybe vego is the way forward?
What the F should you be eating? And when?
5 meals a day? Intermittent fasting? .
How the heck are you supposed to know what to eat so you feel great and get the results you want with your body?
It's really fricken easy to throw it all in the "too hard" basket. .
I did this for sooo long. .
After literally trying every way of eating and having nothing work out I felt like saying F it all. .
It felt too hard, it was too confusing and I was so frustrated with myself and my bod. .
I didn't know how to just take it back to basics and re-train myself to cut out the noise and the distraction so I could literally put my head down and FOCUS on what just made me feel good.
Here's the thing that YOU need to know with 100% certainty if you want to make lasting improvements to your health and your body..... .
There's no secret diet, there's no magic pill. There is NO 1 perfect method, diet and exercise plan that's going to get you to your happy weight.
And that's a great thing. .
Because here's what I know: It's SO MUCH EASIER than that!
All you have to do is take it back to basics. .
Start to get your body used to eating whole foods. .
Begin to reset your mindset so that you're not focused on what other people are doing. .
Begin to nourish yourself on a mind, body and soul level so that you can differentiate what physical HUNGER actually feels like for you. .
It's time to let it be easy. .
The moment my clients choose to trust their bodies, and to only make choices that feel good and serve their highest self is the moment that they NO Longer have to watch what they eat or force themselves to work out and get 10x better results! .

A good rule of thumb to think about when building a snack is to choose a protein rich food and a carb rich food. This way you are getting protein to support continual muscle synthesis and you get energy from carbs to keep up physically and mentally between meals.🏃🏾
Fruit and yogurt is a classic combination that is a perfect example of this carb and protein pairing. There are soooo many ways to enjoy these two together. A ripe juicy pear goes pretty amazingly with maple Greek yogurt, especially this time of year. 🍐🍁🍐🍁

My little veggie head 😍 🥒🌶🥕fighting a bug today so home from Kinder but still has her healthy appetite so I think she just needs some rest after jumping back in full speed to everything last week. This kid only has two speeds... flat out or asleep... nothing in between. ❤️ her!
My little ritual when making simple salad lunches through the week... I often don’t know how they are really going to turn out or what Im going have, but I’m guided by the produce I have in my fridge and these 5 simple steps, when I’m throwing something together.
Firstly I start with
1. Something leafy and green, there’s so many varieties of leafy greens to choose from these days... beautiful fresh lettuces, baby spinach, rocket, kale, cabbages etc.. whatever you have... Next, I cut up....
2. Salad veggies such as cucumber, capsicum, tomatoes, carrots, avocado all the basics are thrown on top of leafy greens.. I also add roasted veggies, left over from the night before. (I cook up extra while I’m doing dinner). Roast beetroot, pumpkin, broccoli, cauliflower, eggplant, zucchini etc
3. Protein, left overs from the night before, such as chicken, lamb, beef, pork (@shiraleeorganicmeats organic pork last night, omg the bomb) eggs, fish, beans... etc
4. Dress it with some good fats, a homemade dressing made with olive oil, flaxseed, avocado, lemon, apple cider, ginger, turmeric, tahini, herbs etc hymalayan salt, pepper.. I make a dressing up at the beginning of the week so I have it ready. Keep it simple.
5. Topped with Fermented veg, I usually have a few different ones to choose from. Then sprinkle a variety of different seeds and or nuts such as pumpkin, sunflower, sesame, almonds, cashews, hemp seeds for some added crunch.
And voila a simple skin loving salad is created in minutes 🍃🥑🥒🥕🍆🍅🍋🌶🍈🥗
