Making a large green juice this morning 💚 Blend a bunch of watercress, a few mint leaves 🍃, 1 cucumber chopped 🥒, 2 green apples chopped, the juice of 2 limes and 1 inch of (peeled) ginger with 800mls coconut water 🌴💦 You need a high speed blender like a Nutribullet, Nutri Ninja or Vitamix and I made this in three batches, straining using a fine mesh sieve at the end to create a green juice rather than thick smoothie. The watercress is a strong flavour, so feel free to use spinach leaves 🍃 instead if you prefer 💚

All the veg in the pic cost me a total of £3.50 - that's probably similar to a venti Latte at Starbucks with extra toppings, or a regular coffee at an artisan café. 🤔 While I absolutely understand strong love for coffee, it surprises me every time when someone tells me that healthy food is expensive and doesn't think twice about spending a fiver a day on things like take-away coffee.

So I am back on the #kefir and trying the cows milk kefir from @livekefircompany Noticed a huge improvement to my health during the last course of this and after not having it for 2 months, my immune system has dropped and finding I am catching bugs a lot easier. I had Viral Meningitis
a number of years ago which has left me susceptible to bugs and viruses. When I had my last course of kefir I felt fabulous and not one bug was caught!!! I intend to incorporate this now permanently into my diet and a glass of 180ml a day.
