Wow, that was way too exciting... grass fire came racing across the paddock straight into the orchard! All under control now thanks to great work of a dozen or more fire crews and water bomber. Probably lost a couple of hundred trees and some fruit, but could've been way worse. Huge thanks to all the firefighters and Parks workers for acting so fast.

Whole30 brings on all the fruit cravings but living in Alaska not only makes it hard to get fresh fruit but organic as well. Costco visits are weekly but we’ve got to do whatever we can to make our fruit clean and last. 🍎🍐

Rainbow Satay Bowl by @avantgardevegan 💚
1 Shallot Finely Diced
1 clove garlic minced
2 tbs Crunchy Peanut Butter
1 tsp White Miso
1 cup Coconut Milk
1 tbs Tamari
1 tsp Dried Chilli Flakes
Sweat the Shallot & Garlic in a non stick frying saucepan until golden, add the rest of the ingredients and mix until well incorporated. Allow to simmer & and reduce for 6-8 minutes.
I served my satay sauce, with steamed rice, smoked tofu, grilled pak choi, radishes & Asparagus, and cucumber & carrot ribbons.
