We keep pushing our bodies but often forget that we can extend gratitude for our bodies and all the phenomenal ways we push our bodies serve us. With this variation, we've added some Glute work that incorporates Pelvic Floor recruitment and release. 
If you don't have springs or straps to pull, hold a flexband over your head and pull out and down. 
Pulling Down at this angle works the lower fibers of your Trapezius muscles which are supporters of your shoulders and arms. A strong shoulder girdle will help you carry your babe and all the baby equipment!

(I have room for improvement here ... prob should have had my leg lower 😱) ➡️the goal is to increase mobility in the hip joint & let the leg move freely! 🔺stand upright with your pelvis in a neutral position: hip bones and pubic bone in line vertically 🔺wide through the collar bone, not hunched forward
🔺strong supporting leg with foot planted on the mat
🔺with bent knee bring your thigh to 90’ or slightly higher. Don’t not change the position of your spine to accommodate! Your leg may not reach 90’ if your hip flexors are weak and tight 🔺you can continue with this and hold or hold & pulse up ... or
🔺extend leg out in front maintaining a neutral posture
🔺5-8 times per side ⚠️tightness in the hamstring & lower back can cause the alignment to shift, decreasing stability of the knee and hip ❌ the support knee will bend and the pelvis will tip forward
✔️work towards a straight gesture leg while maintaining stability in the support leg, spine and pelvis. 🔑: lower the gesture leg to maintain good form! ❤️🐶❤️ #pilatesandpets @informedtechnique @liftedpilates
