Research (& by this I mean a one time study we did at @beccavoigt 's gym yesterday) has proven that eating a donut before lifting while friends cheer you on, helps you lift 100% more than you thought you could. I was going to stop at 195 but after that donut I was able to hit 210, 220, 230, and miss 240 for a Power Clean + Push Jerk 🍩💪🏽 Special thanks to @mitsuostrength for hand delivering this belt! Today was actually pretty good. I set my base percentage a bit high this cycle. I dialed it back to a number I can confidently hit but still struggle with a bit. Just to make sure my technique is good. 325x4x4 @shortstackstrong
