Day 4! 1. I call these the grenades of healing. Got two of these stuck to my sides to pump extra fluid out of me - fascinating stuff. Fluid-wise, it’s been perfect and clear. Pain is tolerable and I’ve cut down on pain killers. Still everything hurts though, don’t get me wrong. 2. Doc’s note: excellent pec definition already, geez thanks! 3. Been eating just like how I eat at home which is so damn well and pretty. Also, this is TMI but I did break the record of fastest person to ever poop after surgery in this house which was basically the next day - apparently this was a big deal. 4. Pumpkin giving me that look. #topsurgery#trans#nonbinary#queer#vegan

The last thing I wanted to do today was leave my apartment. I forced myself to drive a hundred miles to see my family and a couple old friends, though. I’ve almost tricked myself into a better headspace, which is really all I can ask for on days like this.
As the anniversary Women's March unfolds across the nation today, we're reflecting on the words of community members about why they chose to march or not to march last year.
Read the interviews on our website and tag your friends if we missed them! 💕 "As an organization, Art for Ourselves honors the potential this march had and has to make each marcher’s feminism more inclusive, more intersectional, and less complacent. We honor the eventual leaders of the march, fierce femmes of color, Tamika D. Mallory, Carmen Perez, and Linda Sarsour and their work. .
We also honor those who were excluded and silenced by the march and its organizers at any point--femmes of color and trans folks before the march leadership was passed on from white women to women of color, sex workers who were removed from the organization’s policy platform and eventually added back in, disabled folks who were omitted from many parts of the march’s platform and later recognized publicly by the national team.
We honor those who chose not to march as a result of this exclusion and the history of feminist movements that exclude those who exist outside of the able-bodied, cis, heterosexual, white woman binary. .
We honor those who were unable to march due to physical or mental illness, work commitments, or any other reason.
We also honor those who could march and chose to march, and hope each individual was and continues to be guided by Audre Lorde’s words: “I am not free while any woman is unfree, even when her shackles are very different from my own” (and we would add to woman: man or non-binary person)."
Infinite gratitude to Teresa Nguyen, Angela Mogrovejo, Rachel Rose, Angélica Maria Millán Lozano, Heldáy de la Cruz, Mack Carlisle, Rachel Bollens, Anna Vo, Bati Alon, Emily Gritzmacher, Flynne Olivarez, and Jenny Forrester for sharing your words and heart.

This post terrifies me. But i preach in my show to own your worth and body and teach self love and mama didn’t raise no hypocrite, so here’s me. Last year was personally a horrific one and I ballooned in weight, while I’m not define by size and I am not fat, it’s something I have.. I wasn’t happy. Thanks to the guidance of the amazing @louis_pap_ I am seeing changes in my body yes, but my mind and my abilities, my days feel longer and I achieve more, anxiety is less frequent and fear less present and I am happy. I have further to go on my journey and I’m learning to love my body and own my worth. I’m really like 2017 and being the most authentic me, I can be. #selflove#weightloss#fitspiration#ownyourworth#gayfitness
It's my one year coming out anniversary 😌I took this photo at home before I left for the march last year. I quite literally feel like a different person now: it's amazing what living in your truth can do for your spirit🦄Solidarity to everyone out marching today ✊🏻 #resist#queer#womensmarch#glaad
Ik this is a repost but reminder that tomorrow is the women's march!! Last year was amazing but let's see if this year can be even bigger and more inclusive than before!! Also you don't have to identify as a woman to attend, it is open to everyone, and will hopefully be a fantastic event.
Anniversary of the Women's March
#TimesUp on sexual harassment
21st January 11AM
Richmond Terrace, opposite Downing Street, London
Time's Up on gender based violence, sexual harassment and abuse. Time's Up on the systematic and politically motivated underfunding of the services survivors depend on. Time's Up on victimizing survivors and allowing abusers to avoid accountability. Time's Up on the misogynistic abuse of women on social media. Time's Up on the culture that tells men they are entitled to women's bodies.
Time's Up on bigotry and prejudice - scapegoating Refugees and Muslims. Time's Up on racially motivated violence and harassment. Time's Up on deportations, inhuman detention centres and human trafficking. Time's Up on islamophobia, anti-semitism, transphobia, homophobia and ableism. Time's Up on the under representation of marginalised groups in politics and in the media.
Time's Up on the economic oppression of women. Time's Up on the gender pay gap that sees women paid less than their male counterparts for the same job. Time's Up on the cruel and ideological universal credit system which plunges millions into deeper poverty. Time's Up on austerity, a policy which serves to worsen the country’s economy and disproportionately impacts women. Time's Up on the needless deaths from benefit cuts and sanctions.
Time's Up on controlling the bodies of either women or anyone who was assigned female at birth. Time's Up on telling women what to wear. Time's Up on Burka Bans and the phobia of Hijabs. Time's Up on body shaming and fatphobia. Time's Up on menstrual poverty and taboo. Time's Up on the unequal provision of abortion services. Time's Up on the policing of trans women's bodies.
Time's Up on the climate of profit over people. We want #Justice4Grenfell . Time's Up on climate change denial and the destruction of the environment. #ClimateChangeIsReal .
