Riding that river into the middle of nowhere. The Owyhees were named after some Hawaiian trappers who went down the river never to be seen again.
Trust me, It's good to be seen again. Way better than never to be seen again.
"Why be the sheep when you can be the wolf?" Because the lamb is freaking cute, that's why! But seriously, I want that quote tattooed on my skin.
I've utterly failed at posting on here lately, but I'm hoping to get back into it, and I'll start by posting a long, long overdue #quietrec . The His Fair Assassin trilogy is ridiculously spectacular, and I haven't even read MORTAL HEART yet (whoops). I went into this series thinking it would bore me, and I left it thinking that it was AMAZING. Assassin nuns, strong and kickass protagonists, the best and swoony romances--and it never disappoints. Pleaseee read it while I'm over here waiting for more books from Robin LaFevers. (And yes. That is a real lamb. She's three days old and my sister is bottle feeding her. 💜💜💜)
"Welcome to Morganville. You'll never want to leave. And even if you do...well, you can't. Sorry about that."
I was tagged forever ago by @shannonmiz to #showmyseries , and I'm also using it for this week's #weeklybookstagram ! The Morganville Vampires is one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE SERIES. Morganville, Texas is like a second home--that's what reading this series feels like. I'm slowly collecting all the editions--as you can see by my three UK books--and I'm trying to find the magical and illusive ARCs.
