09.21.2017. I can’t believe how much I’ve progressed working with Jeff @jeffinition11 , Fitness First Tampines Personal Trainer. There’s so much to say about him that it will sound rehearsed, but Jeff rules! He frequently seeks information to stay current on training styles and lifts. He listens to me and understands what I look in training and adjusts his style to help me progress. As long as I have been lifting, he has never let me execute a lift that is anything less than one of perfect form which I really appreciate because it keeps me from any injury. Jeff pushes me to achieve my fitness goals beyond what I would do on my own…countless times.
With patience and humor, he listens to my grumbling and then asks, “You done?” Then we’re onto our next set. Jeff’s my friend now and I can say he is a man of morals, character, and integrity. He is dedicated and selfless and mostly Jeff focuses on the future and growth. Though, he’s so serious he can be funny too…sometimes.
There are always goals to achieve. The training itself shows documented physical progress toward these goals, but it’s amazing to me how personal training improves my lifestyle and clears my mind to think positively. It sounds weird, but it’s true! Personal training is a physical and mental outlet that leads to positive changes. Jeff makes and keeps things interesting. Our hour flies by. Personal training with Jeff has kept me strong during weak moments.
Before I enrolled to his training program, I was with zero-experience in terms of lifting. What I am doing was just running marathons; drinks and eats whatever I want without thinking of the results. I was just letting days pass by without looking for any involvement of a proper diet and exercise. I decided that I needed to, once and for all, do something about my state of health. Yesterday's WOD was focused around high volume body weight movements with a smack in the face heavy Kb to suck whatever you had left in the tank. The 100m plate sprint was tossed in to limit the average output time for the movements. Forcing the Athletes to push harder knowing that with longer breaks they take the less work they'll be able to do between runs.
