'Abdullah ibn Ja‘far, who was famous for his generosity, one day passed by a garden. He saw a slave gathering dates in it. He witnessed that the son of the owner of the garden came to the slave and gave him two loaves of bread, after which the slave sat down to eat.
A dog approached the slave, and it was wagging its tail. The slave threw one of the two loaves of bread in the direction of the dog; the dog rushed towards the loaf of bread and ate it but continued to wag its tail. So the slave threw to the dog the second loaf of bread as well, after which he stood and continued his work!
‘Abdullah was amazed at what he saw from the slave that he approached him and asked, "O young man, how much nourishment is provided to you every day?" The slave answered, "The amount that you witnessed (meaning two loaves of bread)." ‘Abdullah said, "Then why did you give all of the food to the dog?" The slave replied, Indeed we do not live in a land that is inhabited by dogs, and I knew that the only thing that led this dog here was hunger. That is why I preferred it to myself." ‘Abdullah asked, "And what will you do for yourself today?" The slave said, "I will spend the night in hunger."
‘Abdullah said, "The people reproach me for being too generous, and yet this young slave is more generous than me!" ‘Abdullah then went to the owner of the slave, asking to buy the slave. The owner of the slave and garden asked, "Why do you want to buy him?" ‘Abdullah informed him of what he saw from the slave, and he told the slave owner that he wanted to buy the slave in order to free him. ‘Abdullah also wanted to buy the date garden, to give it as a gift to the slave.
The owner of the slave said to ‘Abdullah, "Do you want to do all of that for him, just because of one deed? Indeed we see such wonderful deeds from him (the slave) every day! I bear witness the he is free for the sake of Allah and that the garden is a gift from me to him!"

Feliz Día de la Virgen de Guadalupe! 486 years have passed since the Virgin’s apparitions to Juan Diego which started the homage of La Virgen de Guadalupe. Around 8-million people are expected to visit to the Basilica de Guadalupe in Mexico City today, and churches around Southern California will be filled with parishioners. Many Catholics will be singing, praying and thanking her for the miracles they’ve asked for. Thanks to #abc7eyewitness @mywildperspective for sharing this image of “La Virgen de Guadalupe” mural at Ramona Gardens in Boyle Heights.

I am not really a #musical or art person, but I like to explore and appreciate any kind of art. For music, sometime I don’t even understand or can’t remember the lyric, meaning, the artist, or even the title. My appreciation symbolised with a nod. Meaning I follow the music or the art. Simple, he☺️
Well, few years a go, I occasionally went to @erasmushuis_jakarta to watch mini #classical#concert or #recital for free. Or I like to watch #irengmaulana#jazz music performance every Friday night at @plaza_festival again, for free☺️. Classics and jazz are serious music art, but I like it. And since last year, I watch different kind of #blues or #alternative music performance at @atamerica. On the opposite side, I also enjoy #rock music concert😅🤟🏽. #Traditional music #gamelan , or #religious music art #hadrah , #shalawat , #diba , #murrotal I really like them. But for #dangdut , I don’t know why it gets me head ache all the time. Sorry for this😐
Ok, back to the video. So, this is #tbt to the very first big classical concert I’ve seen in life “the symphonic orchestra of Antwerp brings Romeo and Juliet vs West Side Story” performed on Sunday 19 November at the #queenelisabethhall#Antwerp . I was amazed with the composition, the organization, and the tempo. Thank you IOB @uantwerpen for the ticket🙏🏻☺️. Happy weekend beautiful people!
