A transition from paper to digital is inevitable. The schooling system is screaming for it, with its overpriced manuals and heavy bags. ReMarkable released a tablet that lifts micro-particles of ink to the screen, displaying a sleek trail left by the pen. Here's a product that fights the eye squinting disadvantages of glass coated LCD screens, as well as having a battery life lasting over a week. "The ReMarkable is pretty much paper for the 21st century". 35000 already sold. No wonder. #frustratedengineer#tech#technology#innovate#science#school#future#remarkable
If you’ve been around me for more than 15 minutes you’ve probably heard me quote Seth Godin. I know, not very original, but if you’re going to quote someone he’s a great option. 🤓
He wrote this book in 2002. He articulates the concept much better than I could hope to, but my one-sentence synopsis is this: Stop trying to create things to make money and instead create things that are remarkable - things worth remarking about. 🗣
What are you doing that is remarkable? What are you doing that gets people’s attention, that makes them take 3 seconds out of their busy day to think about what they just saw, or heard, or read?⌛️
I’m not talking about business. I’m talking about family. I’m talking about friendships. I’m talking about the grumpy guy in line before you at the grocery store. I’m talking about the lady that delivered your last FedEx box. What are you doing that they are going to go home and tell their family about?🚚📦🎁
The thing about remarkable is that it can be positive or negative. You want to see the negative side of things? Visit Facebook or the comments section of any political-based news article.😡
We have enough of the negative stuff. It’s not helping anyone. So, here’s the challenge.🏆
Do something remarkable today. Make someone smile. Make someone laugh. Do something you’re afraid of doing. Above all, make someone’s day better. If you do it well enough, they just might remark about it… and make someone else’s day better as well.
"Kalimutan mo na yan
Wag kang magpakahibang
Dapat ay itawa lang
Ang problema sa babae dapat 'di iniinda
Hayaan mo sila ang maghabol sa'yo di' ba?" 🎶
#mema 😂 (1/2)
"Sabi ko naman sa'yo,
lahat yan nagloloko
Pagkatapos kang pakinabangan biglang lalayo
Kaya wag nang uulit pa
Kaya wag nang uulit pa" 🎶

The #Dalia#lama got me again... He got me reflecting on #SCARS and what it means to be human. This is My reflection face (😅 non serious version) I realised that I have so many scars already.. Physical scars from playing contact #sport , emotional scars from life lessons and a million others too. I used to dwell on them and almost try to hide them... Weird huh.. But true. It was like scars weren't #normal .. As if everyone got through life without them.. Perfectly unscathed.. ... Wrapped in cotton wool.. One thing this legend of a man said that got me.. Was that we all have scars. They can make Us become resentful or we can use them to soften us and see that we are all human. Imperfect in our own perfection.
Perhaps the more "SCARS" we have is simply a reflection that we have tried, #succeeded , stumbled and at least given this human #experience a good crack.
So more scars = more human? More #real ? More #relateable ? More #remarkable ?
As a #human#being , i commit to the promotion of human values such as compassion, forgiveness, tolerance, contentment and self-discipline. I too believe that as human beings we are all the same. We all have scars and We all want happiness and do not want suffering. I also feel that we dont need to be religious or spiritual to Incorporate these human values into our lives.
Who would of thought that this dude could go so deep? Ahah :) hopefully I got you thinking too.. that your scars are normal and part of what makes you awesome. Peace x
