Why be moody when you can shake yo booty! On a serious note: You attract the energy you give off, so spread good vibes and do the things that make YOU happy! It's okay to be selfish in that sense. Happy Hump Day ✌️🍑 #mood (Character credit: @wheresabel)

This has been on my mind so heavy lately, so bare with me.
I've seen so many people say hateful things about people for choosing to care for themselves. Moms especially. Whether it be because they are on their phone, or taking time to get ready daily, or spending money on getting their nails done or coffee or whatever.
It's not wrong for moms to take care of themselves. Its not wrong for moms (or anyone for that matter but moms are the ones I've seen bashed the most) to do something that they love. It's okay for moms to need a break. For them not to spend every waking moment every single day caring for someone else's needs/wants. We spend most of our time caring for helpless little humans and it's EXHAUSTING. So if Moms need a break and they choose to play on their phone while watching their kids play, THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT!
As moms there is a stigma that 100% of our attention, money, and energy should go to our children. And while I do think their care should be #1 priority, so should taking care of yourself, however that may look for you.
If your kids are happy, cared for, and loved, you're doing a good job momma! Cut yourself some slack and get a coffee or get your nails done. You taking care of yourself matters too 🖤
