While committing to a fitness journey is awesome, but like everything else it's all about balance.  If you're constantly missing out on quality time with the people you love, celebrations, and living life because you're so invested in your workouts and meal prep, it may be time to rethink your priorities.  Fitness should be a part of your life, not your life. Learn to merge the two: instead of skipping Happy Hour with friends to go to the gym, suggest your friends meet up for a hike you can do together.  Of course, it doesn't hurt to grab something healthy after the hike.  Instead of skipping the party because you're worried about those calories, do your research beforehand and make better choices.  Don't think of fitness as something you have to pile on top of your regular life.  Weave it in.  And if there are days when you miss the gym because your family is in town and everyone is celebrating the holidays together, it's okay.  Make it up another day.
