Racing is in my blood! Me in my grandma's arms in the pits at either Indy or MIS.
Family friends in those days were the Donohues, Foyts, Unsers, Allisons, Andrettis, Penske, breedloves, Thompsons, and just about anyone you can think of involved in going fast.
I sure do miss those days!
☕️Friday mornings are for coffee and getting to know about Altitude Training☕️
🏔Improving Oxygen Efficiency🏔
Training at altitude exposes the body to reduced oxygen levels, meaning the body works harder, adapting and becoming more efficient. How do we achieve this?!
Our unique mobile unit filters oxygen out of the air which is then delivered to you inside the hypoxic chamber. We monitor each clients individual O2 and heart rate levels with pulse oximetry (how much oxygen is circulating in your blood) so we can track your individual progress and acclimatisation.
How does this work for you?
Training for sport or rehab 🚵♀️ - Training at altitude enhances the oxygen transportation and utilisation system and enables you to clear by-products from physical exercise (such as lactate) more efficiently. It also enables you to unload muscle groups while maintaining a high cardiovascular and respiratory load. This means there is less impact on your fitness levels while injured 🤕
Planning a trip abroad to high altitude ✈️ - Hypoxic training kick starts the pre-acclimatisation process, preparing your body for the conditions ahead.
Wanting to lose a few extra kgs?
Exercise and good nutrition are key to any weight loss plan. If you are carrying extra weight you generally have poor carbohydrate and fat metabolism, and have a lower exercise capacity overall. The body utilises fat stores differently at altitude and activates the burning of fat stores immediately, and for hours after, resulting in a greater overall weight loss effect!
