Do and post whatever you want. Forgot all the politics. Do what makes you happy. If you’re doing it for other people, you probably shouldn’t be doing it in the first place. I do it for me so make sure you do it for yourself. 🤙🏾🤙🏾

Are we just "grateful" today because it's En Vogue? Do we actually understand how unbelievably fortunate we are to live the lives that we do? How many would kill to take our spots? We are blessed beyond measure. We shouldn't just remember that on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Birthdays. We should remember that with every breath we take. And we should make it a goal to give back every day. Not just to our loved ones, but to our human family. True gratitude is communion.
While we rejoice over food and family, there are people being enslaved in Libya. Children dying in Yemen. A whole nation of people that were basically living in concentration camps in Myanmar. Not to mention everyone still suffering right next door in Puerto Rico. Natural Disasters, Government Corruption, Oppression and injustice are still devastating people everywhere. These are not things we want to think about on days like this. But just because you avoid a problem doesn't mean it ceases to exist. Food for thought. Let's actually look beyond the "holiday" and think deeply about what we're grateful for. And share our blessings with those around us.
Thankful for: Family, Friends, Acquaintances, Joys, Pains, Losses, Gains, the Beautiful, the Ugly, Demons, Saints, Hip Hop, Sneaker Enthusiasts pre-2004, the South Bronx, Spanish Harlem, Santo Domingo, Vision, Photography, the Fake, the Real, Fears and eventually Facing Them. — Happy Thanksgiving 🙏🏽⚡️
Strive everyday to become the best version of yourself.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I am very thankful and appreciative for all of the love and support I have received this far. I will continue to create and hopefully inspire more people each day 🍁♥️📸

Like many of us, @aminaakhtar3 spent today preparing for tomorrow’s festivities. This year Amina’s entire family is gathering at her home — so between cooing over @kimberbaddestbitchalive2.0 she prepped the turkey and other fixings for tomorrow. 🦃
One of the first friends I made at Delaware State was @iamjmorris. It was an honor to shoot his proposal. She said yes and people started cheering and applauding. It was just like the movies! I pray for lifelong blessings for the both of you!
Stop Traffic. Be unapologetic. Be yourself. In our social media driven world, everybody has an opinion on something. (Don't get me started on twitter 🙄) and we spend so much time listening to everybody else that we drown our own voices in that sea of noise 🏊🏾. And while feedback and collaboration can be a good thing. Sometimes you just have to say the hell with all that and do what you want.
Sometimes nobody can see the vision but you. Sometimes you just need to do it for yourself. Sometimes you need to build it first and let them pull up to the crib later. Everybody is not your target customer. Remember that. Everybody won't see where you're going. Just find one person that does then find as many people that look like them as you can.
So let's Unplug. Don't get caught up in what everybody else is saying. Filter through the noise and cut out the bs. Listen to yourself, get to know what that actually feels like. And learn how to weed out good feedback from pointless chatter.
