Shown in certain studies to have the highest level of EMG activity of all hamstring exercises, meaning we get more activation which can help create higher levels of tension and damage 👍🏻
On top of the physical benefits they're really easy to do 🙌🏻 Use a partner, a barbell, lat pull down equipment, basically anything that is fixed!

Happy Friday IG Fam! I've just finished my last challenge of the month and I am now officially giving myself a break and taking the time to really enjoy my practice without feeling tied to taking specific pictures. The weekend is almost upon us and I haven't practiced since Monday. It's been a while since I spent so long without practicing but my body truly needed a break. Every inch was sore and tired! I am almost back to feeling normal now so I'm going to head out to the gym and give my abs a little hard time and practice my handstands 😝🙈 I hope everybody enjoys their day and I send lots of love and light to you all! 😘😘

Cinnamon Pizza treat after an insanely intense functional workout! Don't be fooled. I eat a lot, but I put in the work. I also once thought carbs were evil. But you need carbs when you lift. You need carbs when you run 10k. You need carbs to live. Hahaha.
For anyone asking how I "lost weight": I didn't. I still weigh heavy, as muscles replace fat. Your fitness doesn't depend on the scale. Also, I hate dieting, lol. I reduced my portions and try to eat with the right macros. I started eating relatively healthier food, plus cheat days in between, hahaha. But that's because I know I'm gonna be in this for the long run. Don't starve yourself or do crash diets, it ain't worth it.
And more than anything, I love challenging my physical limits and I enjoy trying new things. I work out because it's FUN. Not because I have to. I get to feel strong, meet new people, and share goals with fitness buddies. Or you know, have some introverted "me" time at the gym. I train for strength, not for a certian body standard (except having a big booty). So it frustrates me a lot when I can't lift heavier or my muscles aren't as big as I want them to be. Lol. But you train for you, not for what other people will say about you.
