Wall L & #Tuck combo! Repeat both sides 3x & as many sets as you can. Try to only bring the knee in and not move (if at all) the rest of the body. Yes, it’s HARD but it will pay off if you try it every day. *This video is sped up 4x in the beginning and middle. Total time to complete 1 set of 3 was a minute.

Woooowee it has been a crazy week as I'm gearing to go to Michigan for the holidays. Hence my lack of posting! Looking forward to flying a little while I'm there and maybe seeking out a chilly outdoor shoot with my pops @cicobaby since my honey won't be there this time around!

Hey everyone! I was tagged by the beautiful @gesaa__x to share some random facts about myself ! ❤️ So here it goes:
My name is Yesenia and it’s pronounced Yeh-seh-nee-ah. My father heard of it in a soap opera and the rest was history. My mother had no say in her choice for “Nicole”. Thanks Dad! 😂 > I’m a huge homebody and introvert. >
My favorite color is lilac. > I was born and raised in New York (Queens) but am living in Anchorage, Alaska. > My hair is naturally very curly but I always straighten it 😩 > I love making silly faces 🙃 > I have a bachelors degree in accounting. > I love, love, love chocolate. When I was a child, I would spend the money my mother used to give me for breakfast on chocolate! 🙊🙈 > I love open minded and non-judgmental people. We are all imperfectly perfect. > I am a very sensitive and emotional person, and can pick up other’s feelings quickly. > I do not like shopping and prefer to do so online. I can’t remember the last time I stepped foot in a mall 😅 > I love rice & beans with a banana. It is weird, I know. But in my culture (my parents are from the Dominican Republic), plaintains/bananas are a major food staple! > I love pasta 😋 > Summer is my favorite season > I am newlywed to a handsome soldier who occasionally joins me in yoga. He is also the one who captures all of my outdoor yoga photos 💜 > I speak English and Spanish and will hopefully learn Portuguese as my husband is Brasilian. > I love traveling and trying new things & food! > I am a hopeless romantic and firm believer of love 😍 > I started yoga in early 2016. As I practiced, I saw my mind and body overcome so much. It changed my life and my way of thinking. 🙏🏻💜
I feel like I wrote an essay so if you’re still reading, I appreciate you! I tag @clairemarvini @nessjasper_yogi @sapphire_6lue @clemence_goncalves @flaviayogalicia and anyone else who wants to join to share some random facts about themselves. And for those wondering, this is a throw back picture from when I visited Jamaica a few years ago. I am obviously missing the sun! ☀️ Happy Thursday everyone!
“I’ve been blessed to be teamed up with #meal pro. I’m now getting sponsored by them. The hardest part about incorporating a fitness regimen is learning how to eat right. With meal pro you get 10% off with AF10 and Anker Fitness approved. I use to spend spend 3-4 hours a week making food. Now it’s shipped fresh my house weekly. . Let me know if you have any any questions.
Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work aroud it.“
Far too often many of us were taught to just find a job and stick with that job for 30 to 40 years then retire. Throughout that time ,there is always a feeling that the individual wants to do more. Has the will to do more. For themselves and their families. Many are afraid to take the risk. Reality is you have taken a huge risk already, laying all of your time and energy into someone who has already developed their brand, with nothing but hope that you reach the level of the creator of such brand or company. That traditional risk can take an ugly turn at anytime, because it is at that point you will realize the owner of that brand has administrative control over an important part of your life. If you look to do more for yourself, you have to be willing to invest in yourself. Running someone else's brand should only be a stepping stone to leap into your own. #mentalnotes#exercise#bodybuilding#fitnessmotivation#strength#buildyourown#risk#encouragement#entrepreneur#business#peopleofservice#highlyeffectivepeople
Today went decent overall. I will say this out of the 17 years I've been dealing with this illness, my favorite Dr Has to be this guy!! #DrZ He saysI have the best personality of anyone fighting an illness he's experienced but his personality is golden as well! Some Drs like to bullshit you but he and I have the perfect understanding, communication and relationship and I do appreciate him for his sincere care towards me and my condition.(Which is why I let him convince to undergo one more bout of fighting this damn #Lupus .) I'll have to start a more aggressive chemotherapy in January where Ill have to start getting weekly infusions instead of monthly and each indusion will take 4-5 instead of 1 or so as I've been enduring but Im going to #Fight and push through no matter what.
Its only another test but God only assigns the toughest battles to the strongest soldiers and clearly I must be one.
There's always time to put in some cardio! That's right... even on Saturday's!
Did you know our 4D Active programs are written by a team of health practitioners including Exercise Physiologists, High Performance Coaches and Physiotherapists who currently work with Australian Olympic and elite level athletes. Which means there's more to every workout that just a bit of sweat.
Yesterday I overloaded an already irritable stabiliser by pressing more than I should have when I really shouldn't have been pressing heavier #weights in the first place.
So today, I thought I'd #go and #fix things.. Then I got to the #gym saw some weight and went "Fuck it! Let's just load up twice as much in the other direction.. That'll fix it" 😉😋😈 If almost anyone else came to me and said that was their solution, I'd slap them! ( #doasisay#notasido )
However, it was still a #calculated#session of #methodical#madness despite the looseness and #lunacy behind it.
It's actually an important stabiliser and I knew it wouldn't have an issue with the weight. So I flipped today's session on it's head; incorporated the concept of push/pull for balance and did my research on the best exercises I could do to ensure I don't blow the sucker out or tear it in half or anything stupid like that 😉
Granted, half the plan got put aside for the next session and I went more on feel and one of the exercises I've already researched and practiced before.
I started with a #supporting movement in a similar direction to yesterday's work; but this time with a particular focus on the stabilising #muscles Started light and felt my way through.
Then I moved on to a more targeted exercise that I had researched to REALLY get into the areas I have issues with.
Then I loaded up some heavy-ass weights and lifted that shit! - It felt good 😊
And between the 3 movements, I was able to focus on the areas I needed to, in 3 different directions! Not just one direction 3 different ways but a full '3D' #workout to get shit sorted.
Un-Oops'ing is often just the reverse of the initial Oops. I can't recommend highly enough to use a professional when you want to do this but the point is an 'Oops' doesn't have to end your week. Things can be fixed and it's a great opportunity for you to address some imbalances / issues and #learn#mrbodywar#watchmegrow#nooops 😉😈 #bodybuildinglife#ironaddict#bodywarnutrition#xtremesportsscience#strength#fitness#aesthetics#sportsmodel#motivation
