It’s easy to try and reverse engineer someone’s successful strategy.
In some cases, this is really useful.
But it’s equally important to remember that the systems, habits, and strategies that they’re using today are probably not the same ones they were using when they began their journey.
What is optimal for them right now ISN’T necessarily needed for you to get started.
If you set your bar at “AMAZING,” it’s awfully difficult to start.
This is especially true in health and fitness, but can be applied to anything.
Comparing your current situation to someone who is already successful can often make you feel like you lack the required resources to get started at all.
Claiming that you need to “learn more” or “get all of your ducks in a row” can often be a crutch that prevents you from moving forward on the stuff that actually matters.
Hey I’m all for optimizing and improvement… 1% gains and optimizing tiny habits is my shit.
But don’t let visions of what is optimal prevent you from getting started in the first place.
An imperfect start can always be improved.
But obsessing over a perfect plan will never take you anywhere on its own.
So what’s really holding you back?

There is always a difference in between what you say and what you do. This is the reality of life. You want to step up on the Mountains but you are not willing to put your legs on the ladder.
You and me every one of us is having good intentions to make something happen today. But all this is not happening not because of bad weather, or lack of money or lack of education. All this is because of less of deep interest.
There is no hidden magic, watch your actions and apart your words. Always ask yourself these questions.
1. Are you improving your skills?
2. Are you adding value to others people lives?
3. Are you saving 10%of your income?
4. Are you investing in yourself?
5. Are you exercising or reading enough Books?
No definitely not. You are not improving, not saving not exercising and etc etc.
This is happening because you are so busy in running with events but no time to question your daily habits or actions. Now start investing your little time in improving not in thing adding no value to your life.
What if it DOES work?
What if you can SQUEEZE it in?
What if it can CHANGE your family’s lives?
What if you can go on MORE vacations?
What if it can be personally FULFILLING ?
What if you CAN do it?
What if it HELPS pay off your debt?
What if you can be a more PRESENT parent?
What if the kids can do more EXTRA activities?
What if you can BUILD a retirement fund?
What if you could PAY for college?
What if you can have TIME FREEDOM?
What if you CAN say YES to the things you currently say "no" too? 🤔What if....... well, YOU CAN‼️😍 If it’s still on your mind, then for goodness sakes, let’s do this! Life is too short for WHAT IF!
I have been seeing a lot of posts on FB, IG, and Twitter about choosing a “word-of-the-year” to focus on for 2018. I am someone who believes in resolutions, setting goals, and dreaming lofty dreams. But, when it comes to following through or motivating myself, I fall flat. So, I went through a series of prompts, did a few days of goal setting, figuring out what I want 2018 to be...and it boiled down to one word.
There are some things that are scaring you right now. Things that can make you uncomfortable, challenge you, or force you out of your bubble so you’re afraid to take action on it. For Duds, it’s spending time with Gryff. Yours is much different I’m sure.
Something to think about: would you rather stay uncomfortable where you’re at now (for who knows how long) or work through the temporary discomfort and get everything you want? Here’s to committing to your health and taking your life to the next level. It’s your time. You’re ready. Go crush it. 👊🏻♻️💪🏻#yougotthis
One of the essential keys in moving ideas into action is writing them down. When you translate your thoughts on paper you are already taking the first action step. That step becomes a commitment to take more action which will allow that idea to eventually come to fruition. As we close out 2017 let's start getting into the habit of writing down our goals. Let's not get stuck in the old new year new me trend which only lasts about a month or 2 and end up being in the same position by the end of the year. North America’s Serengeti - The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is under threat. 200,000 members of the Porcupine caribou herd use this landscape as their calving and nursing grounds every year. These caribou migrate thousands of miles every year, to reach this coastal plain in Northern Alaska, it is the only place that will sustain them and their newborn calves. A provision in the upcoming Budget Bill opens this sacred land to industrial oil and gas development that is not compatible with the incredible influx of life that this landscape currently sustains.
