My Total Drama WWE Women Review: Season 01, Episode 02 (16/01/2018): Hello there and welcome to another post of my review on the second episode of Total Drama WWE Women: Season 1. Previous episode saw the introduction of the 26 competitors until they were paired into two teams of Team Gems and Team Myths. Following numerous events and some crazy challenges, this resulted on Emma being eliminated from the game show, leaving all of us with 25 other competitors remaining.
This episode is a major upgrade from the last one and, I mean, what is TDWW without its dramas and unexpected surprises? We saw more of Asuka and Carmella, as well as Nikki and Sasha, ramming each other down their throats, while a new one was torn by Bianca and Mandy. I just love it when tensions rise amongst Team Gems and Team Myths with a lot of competitors like Alexa, Nia and Natalya turning the cabins upside down with their devious plans (The sane thing applies to Carmella, Nikki, Charlotte, Billie and Peyton). And because of those plans, it has managed to get Trish eliminated and such a devastating exit from her. Despite the second elimination, we are down to 24 competitors with only one to win the grand prize. The episode's highlights go to the Awake-A-Thon challenge, all things Team Myths and Nikki Bella channeling her Regina George/Heather towards fellow teammates, except for Brie. Honorable mention goes to Becky finding out Carmella's evil scheme and Billie Kay's love for sweet fruits turn sour.
All of that aside, the real questions are 'Will the contestants' plans 100% flourish or flop?' 'Can Carmella stop Becky from revealing the harsh truth?' 'Are we going to have any more backlash from Team Gems or Team Myths?' 'Will a catfight amongst the competitors erupt?' Until the next episode of Total Drama WWE Women, thank you for reading my review of Episode 02 and I hope to write again when the account has more content in the future.
My Review on Total Drama WWE Women: Season 1, Episode 1 (15/01/2018): Earlier this month, lots of you were introduced to a brand new account on Instagram called Total Drama WWE Women. For me, I discovered it through @certifiedwomensleague's story last week. When I saw the account and its content, I fell in love with it and it has inspired me to create a page for reviewing episodes, seasons, characters, etc. Serving as the game show's host, Stephanie McMahon (@certifiedwomensleague) has invited 26 Total Drama WWE Women competitors to Camp Wawanakwa for an exciting, dangerous, gruesome and life-changing competition to win the One Million.
The 26 competitors have been divided into 13 members of each of the 2 teams. The 1st team happens to be Team Gems (Sasha Banks, Nikki Bella, Bayley, Paige, Mandy Rose, Charlotte Flair, Brie Bella, Mickie James, Naomi, Lana, Liv Morgan, Tamina and Bianca Belair) and the 2nd team happens to be Team Myths (Peyton Royce, Billie Kay, Ember Moon, Ruby Riott, Carmella, Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, Nikki Cross, Emma, Trish Stratus, Nia Jax, Natalya and Asuka). During their time on the campsite, both teams compete against each other in several daring competitions with a shocking twist or two during the results. One person from one of the 2 teams will be eliminated if the team they're on loses. That all being said, I can't wait for the last competitor standing to be crowned the winner of Season 1 and win One Million. That should be a feel good moment for them.
Anyway, the first episode kicks off in amazing fashion, especially where there was animosty on the docks, the rooms and during the competition. As usual, there was going to be a lot of drama and, my goodness, they all delivered. It was so hilarious to see the two teams' competitors at each other's throats. Notable highlights, for me, would be the animosities caused by Nikki and Brie, which resulted them to get thrown into the lake by Sasha and company, Bianca's clapback to Nikki as well as Nikki's to Sasha, both were ruthless, Nikki Cross's love for moldy bread ("Mm." "tastes just like home.") and Asuka and Carmella's epic encounter. (Continued at the Comments section).
