A week in Cornwall capturing some beautiful images in a variety of stunning locations. Situated on the opposite side of St Ives Bay, Hayle is famed for it's 'three miles of golden sand'. The beaches start at the mouth of the estuary and are regarded as an international quality bird-watching spot. Sightings include Avocets, Ospreys and a host of wading birds. The Hayle sands end with Godrevey Point with the lighthouse on an island about 50 metre out to sea.
The name is lost to history. — This is a shot of my new favorite place, Evergreen Cemetery. It’s a large African-American cemetery started in 1897 that was mostly abandoned about 40 years ago. Over the last few years groups have started working to clear away the forest that quickly overtook the burials. It’s an amazing place to photograph full of history and great people.
