Since today is exactly four weeks until the #flexfreshstart challenge ends, I'm making it a goal to track 100% and post here every night- Even if it isn't pretty! Tonight I was a bi-weekly tradition called Friends Who Feast. My pals and I take turns choosing a restaurant to go to every other week. This week was #boyfriendboy 's pick and he chose an authentic Japanese restaurant. I had beef udon and dumplings. I'm in bed and starving right now, so I definitely didn't eat enough of my soup. Sushi and Udon night. It blows my mind how simple this meal looks, and how much of a disaster my kitchen is! 😥 But it was amazing. Our 3 rolls are shrimp tempura, spicy Dungeness crab roll,and a combo of the two, with tobiko of course, and accompanied by some fried shrimp heads! The Udon is my homemade turkey stock fortified with the shrimp shells and some white miso, along with onion, bok choy, and tempura shiitake.
