Wreath crush 🍃 Someone else who is hooked?
During the snow on Sunday @butterwakefield and I were potting bulbs in her kitchen, drinking ginger tea and unsticking bits of carpet moss. We tucked in irises and paperwhites, tulips and grape hyacinth. Afternoons rarely get any lovelier. (Special thanks to Louise @w6gardencentre, who kindly re-housed several potted mints when I spied some tubs in the back of a greenhouse, and wanted to buy them for my tulips).
Maggie and the pink wreath.
Happy sunday from my home to yours. Heavy snow in Amsterdam. Such a rare view. I’ll be outside soon to enjoy. Yesterdays market flowers. December months always a challenge. I’m not a flowersnob. Otherwise choosing flowers the most difficult thing. Chrysantemum used as fillers. Eyecatching gerbera’s and carnations together with roses, tulips and anemones. Real chilly peppers added for zing and spice. A wild bunch for sure! Have a brilliant sunday and a delicious new week everyone. Let’s spice up our week.
Just working on my Christmas spirit over here! It was actually wondering around the supermarket earlier today that finally got me in the Christmas mood. Festive food for the win amiright?! And cranberries are like little jewels, so totally a worthwhile purchase 🙊
Have a lovely one folks 🎅🏻🦃🥦🥂
We still haven't put our tree up yet 🌲 I'm thinking this weekend... well it needs to be this weekend really doesn't it 🙈 there will the usual move round of furniture and struggling to remember which boxes of decorations need to come out of the loft 🤔 #christmastraditions wouldn't be Christmas without the mayhem!
Just to say this weekend is your last chance to get Grace Alexander seeds into the stocking of your choice. By tomorrow tea time, I’m declaring Christmas to have begun and the shop will be closed. [link in profile] To be safe, order this morning because dog three is arriving this afternoon. A second setter. I rarely doubt my sanity, but right now....
Close of 2017. Last wreath made..... and as much as I relish the idea of hands which may once again not make my two year old wince, I will rather miss the therapeutic motion of endless circles. Merry Christmas all you wreathers, garlanders, swaggers and bedeckers 🎄🎄...The last Madame Alfred Carriere of 2017 with the promise of what 2018 has to come.
What an amazing few weeks I’ve had. I’ve had the pleasure of running four wreath making workshops @alexandranurseries where some wonderful wreaths were made by some very talented people , and a great corporate workshop too where the standard of wreath making was exceptional. Thanks to everyone who came to a workshop and to those who have bought one of my wreaths. These are the last few on sale @brownsofbrockley this weekend. I’m off to buy a 🎄and do some Christmas shopping. Have a great day everyone 😊#wreaths#christmas#flowers#londonflorist#christmaswreath
For Laura and James ❤️ a silver and red number packed with textures, fruits and sparkle ✨
Happy Weekend! Who’s still got Christmas shopping todo? 🙋🏻♀️🙈
Pop by today, I might have just what you need! I’ll be open till 5! S x
The freelance flower team of the large installation workshop of @firenzaflowers 🌿 Wonderful new friends made @charlotte.pennell @the_deerkeepers_wife Looking forward to seeing you both in Glasgow! Beautiful photos captured by Holly of @belle_andbeau 💕
I think this picture quietly sums up where my heart lies and the two loves I pursue on a daily basis... horses and flowers 💚 I met this gorgeous man on the large installation workshop of @firenzaflowers in which I was working on and happened to do a little modelling with him at the end of the day! A beautiful day @holmeflowers with some truly lovely people (and horses). Thank you Holly @belle_andbeau for your photos, I just want to post them all 🙈!
The last wreath of the year and my favourite. All my hellebores on a natural frame adorned with dried ferns, hydrangeas and moss... I am taking a short break from the flowers to enjoy the season with family and work on a crazy project I am immersed in... Still early to know what will come out of it, but the truth is that I am having so much fun getting out of my comfort zone. I’ll keep you posted of the progress!
As a token of our appreciation we’re going to include a treat in four orders placed for delivery between the 19th and 23rd of December. The treat will be a four month bouquet subscription to enjoy at the start of next year! How beautiful is this arrangement created by the wonderful @tamsynmorgans? You can fine lots of wonderful decorating ideas from Tamsyn over on our blog.
