It's moments like these that make my job so rewarding ❤️.... Mr Scholl was travelling in business class with his daughter adventuring off to Australia for their very first time to celebrate his 90th birthday. His dream was to always come to Aus, and made it his "bucket list tick". Myself and the crew fell in love with him and spoiled him the entire flight, which we were delighted to. We also managed to get his secrets about ageing so well and healthy! We made a card for him out of the business class menu and all the crew signed it.... along with tips on things to do while they were visiting. It really blew him and his daughter away and seeing their happiness and joy was really rewarding and uplifting. They got off their flight so happy and delighted and Mr Scholl said with tears in his eyes it was the best flight he's had in his life ❤️🎂🎉✈️

Instagram vs reality. Both of these photos are me. These are not before & afters and aren't photoshopped, they're just me. I've been told how amazing I look in a crop and tights but the fact of the matter is, I've never left the house like that & probably never will. Because on the left, I have lighting that's totally going my way, I have amazing high waisted tights on that disguise my mumtum, & I have an angle that makes my body look pretty banging 😂 Then on the right- no fabulous lighting, my tights aren't pulled up high & pulling my tummy in. I always workout in tights that pull my core in because without it, it hurts & feels incredibly uncomfortable due to my separated muscles & it basically feels like running without a bra. 😓 Anyway, this post is basically a PSA to let everyone know not everything is as it seems on Instagram (or in real life.) don't get me wrong! I'm proud of what I've achieved this year. I've lost 25kg & now am trying to smash out some other goals. I feel good most days. But every time I see an amazing fitmum on Instagram (like @diaryofafitmommyofficial wow she is a ROCKSTAR & totally goals!!), I get a little sad knowing that no matter how hard I work, my hanging mumtum ain't going no where. I know there's probably a lot of other people who feel the same way. So here I am. Telling you I understand. I have those feelings too. So next time you see a photo of a fit mama in your feed & feel discouraged, remember this photo. But no matter what, all our bodies are awesome. Whether you have a six pack or whether you have a hanging tummy we all have our insecurities about different body parts & that's ok. We are all different & that's ok. I am so self conscious about my tummy, but I'm trying to learn to love it. I'm trying to help normalise the idea that it's ok so have a tummy like this so we don't feel ashamed of our bodies. It's a long road, & a confronting one. But I'm hoping, one day we can all love our bodies whether we are big or small, thick or thin, flabby or muscly. Because we all deserve to love ourselves.
