Q: Why I chose a more plant based diet.
My story (short version):
Growing up I always suffered with acne and I was extremely overweight. I was bullied because of it and I pretty much disliked myself. So fast forward to high school, I lost a lot of weight (not in a healthy way, that’s another story for another time). But I still had acne. It wasn’t terribly bad, so I didn’t care as much. Now fast forward to college, my acne became horribly worse. It began on my cheeks; they were filled with nasty little bumps and then I had huge pimples in the center. My forehead was targeted next. I became depressed. I couldn’t handle looking at myself in a mirror. I knew I had to change something, so I did research and read about the befits of going vegan. I decided to give it a try. I started off slowly, so I ate meat every once in a while, but I ate mainly plant based foods. Next I got rid of meat and dairy products completely. I started doing skincare routines and eating healthy and in 3 months my skin cleared up! I had not even 1 pimple in sight. I decided I wanted to continue this lifestyle, not just for the health benefits, but because I know I’m helping animals lives as well. I’m still a beginner at this whole vegan lifestyle, but I’m trying my best and I’m loving everything about it. I feel great, my skin is great, and I’m just overall happy☺️ •

Each Restaurant has their Unique handmade dessert that makes you remember forever their unique identity before you leave their restaurant. It's really a F & B Business Top secret. The side dish were excellent too. Love the Shredded Mango marinated with Passion Fruit. Amazing combination!!
🍽️🍽️10 Course Dinner at I - Vegan Vegetarian Restaurant, one of the 5 Stars Vegetarian Restaurant in Taipei on 17th November, 2017.I was lucky to be able to taste all the Best Vegan Cuisine during the 45th IVU World Vegfest in Taipei. It’ll be hard they said; You’ll only eat salad they said; You won’t get enough protein they said. The shift was hard at first, but it was more like learning a new cuisine. There are so many creative plant-based recipes out there, that I don’t think I’ve eaten a “salad” in months. All it takes is an attitude shift, and scrolling instagram for recipes to try 😋 This dish has more than 30g of protein by the way, and baked tofu is life-changing!! baked tofu/almond butter sauce
