Beginning to freeze more of my own fruit. Why? I find packaged frozen fruit can be so expensive. I mean $10 for one small pack of frozen organic blueberries is ridiculous. On top of that their imported. I can get 3 bags of organic apples for the same price, and I'm buying local. Problem is I can't eat all the apples before they lose their freshness. So I've begun freezing. I actually don't mind eating "some" fruit frozen. Frozen grapes, apple, pears, etc are like my new iced treat or snack atm, instead of eating refined sugar. I don't even have to eat a whole apple in one sitting. Frozen fruit works well in smoothies too.. Frozen berries with dairy free yogurt or coconut cream is also a cool treat.... #freezingfruit#supportinglocal#savingmoney#vegan#veganideas#refinedsugarfree#channelingmyvegan
Tofu sandwich! This was actually so easy I just coated the tofu with potato starch and baked it in the oven || Carrots, spinach, tofu, and ginger dressing on french bread || now that I know how easy it is I can't wait to try it with all different kinds of toppings 😬
🍅Los tomates Kumato son muy jugosos y firmes en textura, lo que los hace excelentes para el uso de ensaladas frescas o incluso simplemente con aceite de oliva y un batido de sal #tomate#kumato#specialtyproduce
Miso glazed aubergine
One of the things I love best about having adopted a plant-based lifestyle is that it has pushed me to explore new ingredients, flavor combinations and ways to cook.
Up until recently, I thought that miso was just a base for pre-sushi soup, but am now discovering that it can be used in a multitude of different ways from marinades, glazes, dressings, even desserts. This is a delicious vegetable version of a nobu-style cod and is perfect for a lazy weekend lunch eaten with a fresh sourdough.
Pre heat the grill to a medium heat (mine was at 510°f) Make the glaze by mixing white miso with some agave syrup and rice wine vinegar.
Slice the aubergine into 1½" slices and place on a lightly greased baking sheet and grill for ~5 minutes.
Generously spread the glaze and brown.
Flip the aubergine, glaze and brown the second side.
Serve warm and crispy, topped with sliced scallions and toasted sesame seeds. -----
I prepared some courgettes/zucchini the same way, to equal success, but they were less photogenic! -----

❣️Los estudios genéticos han concluido que las nectarinas evolucionaron debido a un alelo recesivo. Sin dos copias de un gen, esta nectarina se produjo naturalmente como un melocotón sin pelusa #nectarina#specialtyproduce
VEGAN FOOD HAUL (vegan junk food 😊) These are six of my favorite packaged vegan foods that I get from a regular grocery store. I bought all of these for under $30 🤑 || first is daiya vegan yogurt I never liked yogurt before I went vegan but these coconut milk based ones are so good! Blueberry is my favorite flavor 😋 next is ben and jerrys dairy free ice cream. I've tried multiple brands of vegan ice cream and this is by FAR my favorite and I actually like it more than real ice cream 😬 third: these chips are amazingggg my all time fav, I can eat a whole bag in one sitting and I have 🙃 fourth are these little almondmilk pudding cups so cute and so good! Perfect to satisfy a quick chocolate craving 😊 then I have my favorite milk. Its actually made out of peas! But it doesn't taste like peas I promise, it doesn't really have a taste and its MUCH better for you than cows milk. Last but not least these vegan snickerdoodles which are also gluten free and so chewy and delicious I'm obsessed with them ❤️ if anyone has any suggestions for vegan products I should try please let me know!

My bowl of goodness fosure😀
I love curd and even any dish made out of it. But what i love the most is that it has got numerous skin benefits too❤
Curd helps in lightening your skin, tightens your pores and moisturizes your skin. The vitamin C present in it reduces fine lines and wrinkles too.The lactic acid in curd helps your skin to fight bacteria keeping it healthy and firm. And so i use it in almost all of my diy masks.
It even contains proteins so if consumed raw can give numerous skin and hair benefits. It even promotes hair growth. Conditiones your hair and and fights against dandruff too. Just take little curd n add lemon juice and apply on your scalp and not hairs. Wear a shower cap and after 30 mins wash with lukewarm water.
So, add it in your smoothies or mocktails or have a bowl of curd every day before or after an hour of your meal to get its maximum benefits😃❤

My friends are coming to stay with me for the weekend so I want to give them a proper vegan show (but shhh we won't say it's all vegan food until they've eaten it...)
Have you tried making cauliflower alfredo?! Do it!!! So dreamy and low-fat 😍
I topped my with peas, @organic_matters coconut bacon, and @minimalistbaker cashew parm!
Tip: put 1/4-1/2 Cup of cashew parm in the sauce to kick up the alfredo flavor 🙌🏻
