About a year ago I started to clean up what I eat. It's been a process, but now I'm mainly dairy, gluten and refined sugar free. My diet is primarily plant based, and I've stopped eating processed foods. I forgive myself when I go off course, which I find allows me get back on track more easily.
I'm so inspired by everything Samira @alphafoodie does, but to me, what she has inside her fridge is everything. There's no packaging, no preservatives, no junk. It's all just whole, real food. And it makes me want to do better because I can see this bright, shining example of someone doing better.
So here's what I'm going to do: I'm going to clean out my fridge. I'm getting rid of any residual junk and making room for real food. I'm going to tackle one shelf a week and show you my progress. And I'm starting a hashtag #cleanoutmyfridgechallenge
because change is hard, but together we got this. So let's do this! 🍉🥝🍓🍍🥒🌶🍆🥕🥚🍵
Spreads and salad every summer day. Harvested the #garlicscapes and #kohlrabi upstate, roasted them up with some cherry tomato 🍅the salad (baby kale, baby collards, arugula) is from my community garden here in the city. Light mustard-maple-vinaigrette. Not pictured is the bread, pickled things, and @kitehillfoods cheese. Everything was done in 20 min. What are you having for #dinner ? Btw, roasted garlic scrapes=unbelievably tasty
