Favorite lipstick of all time! I'm definitely not a one shade of lipstick kind I'd girl! Subtly has never been a way to describe my makeup! 😝 But if I HAD to pick one color to wear for the rest of my life, this would be it! NYX soft spoken and today I added a touch of Amber highlight to the center! 🙌🏼
Elvis Deadly & the Oranges had a great day off in DC yesterday shooting a few things (keep ya posted on that soon) & taking in the sites. Posthumous – Romantic & Comedy
Rating – 5.7/10
By Ramneek Pahwa
Posthumous is an hour and a half long film, starring Jack Huston and Brit Marling. It falls into the romance-comedy genre. The movie was released in 2014 and never became popular. IMDB gave the movie 5.7/10 stars and rotten tomatoes gave it 3/5.
The movie is an everyday cliché. Jack Huston plays the role of Liam Pryce, an artist who faked his own death to make his art relevant again. The movie isn't very insightful, there is no virtue or meaning to it. This film exposes the reality of modern art, how it was before, how it has now been commercialised and raw art is not appreciated as it was before. Besides that, the film does hold slight charm in his relationship with a Journalist (Brit Marling) trying to write a story on him and his life. There onwards the film goes back to it's cliché scenes.
Since the story is not much of a catch, the cinematography and music is something make up for it. The slow but revealing scenes express hints of emotion.
This movie isn't much to look at but I cannot deny the subtle charm it holds.
