Sharing a little about myself and my sweet family. Thanks @oldworldandcopper for the invite. Our farmhouse renovation started a few years ago when we bought an old ranch style house that was built by a mink rancher in the 50s. Hence the IG name #minkranchremodel . The reno seems never ending and has required a great deal of patience but nothing great was made overnight, I guess. I wouldn't be where I am today without the love and support of my wonderful husband! He supports my crazy dreams and gives me the freedom to work on my "projects". Last year our family increased in size with the most precious gift, our Olivia. Becoming a mom has been the greatest experience and we couldn't be more blessed to have such a loving, curious, independent little girl. I hope you all will follow along as I share a little diy, little home decor and a little family in my squares.
I've tagged a few friend to play along. I would love to learn more about you! My garden site currently (lower) and years ago (top). These shacks housed the migrant workers while they worked on the farm. The farm primarily grew beans, grapes, strawberries, and raspberries. I've planted beans and raspberries so far in my garden but I would love some grapes on the farm again 🍇#farmstead#vintagefarm
How to help
In addition to accepting livestock and pets rescued from the Napa County wildfires, Vintage Farm, at 1175 Sierra Ave. in Napa, is taking donations of supplies. Volunteers are accepting grass hay, sweet cob (animal feed made from corn, oats and barley), dog and cat food, chicken feed, pipe fencing and hog panels.
Surplus supplies will be given to other establishments sheltering animals during the fires.
Visitors can pull into the farm driveway at the stub end of Sierra Avenue. Volunteers can be contacted through the Napa FFA chapter on Facebook, at facebook.com/napaffa/
Farm are still taking any farm animal needing rescued. They are able to help with pick up too. Call or text Emmalee at (530) 559-7566. Or come by. Cell has been off and on. #napafire#napavalleyfire#vintagefarm
