Tito Larry is one of the titos/Sirs i look up to and his wisdom is definitely one i would like to emulate. I was amazed, for as a former Executive Director of Philippine Science High School System and former officer at DOLE, and a lot more backgrounds and credentials, already successful in his field, he showed his humility and a heart to serve, having mentors much younger than him, still learning and growing himself!! As a millenial, i believe that we can start working our success at a young age. And it pays to listen and learn from others, even from outside your field.
I am glad to say that he shares our same vision of true health and advocacy to one person at a time.
Thank you tito Larry Cabatic for sharing your wisdom! Your family is an inspiration to us all! 💎
For about 56 hours a week, the bed collects sweat, body oil, skin flakes, and dust with ease. If left for too long, the microscopic life within the wrinkles and folds of the bedsheets can make people sick. To combat dust mites and other allergens, wash bedsheets and pillowcases weekly.
Micro-needling ✔️helps to improve skin texture ✔️reduces the appearance of scars and stretch marks and ✔️creates a more youthful skin tone 👌🏼Everything you need to know about the treatment on the blog 🤓 Link in bio 🔝 #wisdomwednesday
Despite having goals, despite being “strong” and persevering, I too feel fear for the great unknown. Life is scary and I’m willing to harness that fear in the months to come, for all I have is myself to nurture, to learn with and to grow. xx #wisdomwednesday @justice_league97 #Repost

For the first 3 creatures, you can easily tell how they walk, but for the 4th, it is hard to tell because all we've seen is its ability to imitate what the others are doing.
Sadly though, many people in life live life imitating others. It is hard to tell who they truly are because none of their actions are really theirs. They only imitate.
Such people are never focused. They are never able to finish any project they start in life because just when they were half-way done, they see someone else who is doing something better and they jump into that. ~
The danger in that is that they end up being so busy being busy, but without any tangible results.
Here’s a gentle reminder:
~ We are all different and even our destines are different.
~ Just because someone else is doing something and you’ve seen them succeed in it does not mean you will succeed should you attempt to do it. If that was not your destiny it won’t take long before you give up.
~ Imitating others will only waste time for you because while you are busy imitating them, you are losing valuable time you would have used to go after your destiny. And guess what, while your time wastes, they on the other hand are working towards their destinies.
Are you doing what you are doing today because you know for sure that’s what you should be doing, or are you doing it because you imitated someone else?
Two things to remember:
1. You can copy all you want, but you will always be one step behind.
2. It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation.
3. No man was ever great by imitation.
Be yourself because an original is worth more than a copy.
Be Ignited. Be Inspired. Be Influenced. Become the best version of yourself you can ever be. ~
Getting lost in my own thoughts while exploring art installations in Southbank was a routine for me and I didn’t appreciate its beauty as much as I could. Thinking of it now, it was more than just an evening filled with coffee dates, mind-blowing talks and breath-taking art installations, it was a way of letting myself breathe and allowing to forget whatever my mind has come up with. Even if that was for a split-second (or several hours). /
Someone has told me that “the grass isn't greener on the other side. It's greener where you water it”. And that saying stuck with me, it got burnt onto my skin, reminding me that often [majority of the time] we do not know what goes on in other person’s life. We are aware of the surface, a smaller side of the bigger picture. I guess it is a note to myself, a request even - that no matter what kind of thoughts are racing through my head, bringing myself down shouldn’t be what I practise on a daily basis.

🙌 Words of Wisdom 🙌⠀
It can be easy to think of change as a negative, but having these thoughts will only ever bring you down. But switch your thinking to positive & you'll become a more confident & happier person. You'll thank yourself for it!⠀
Limits begin where vision ends..... In order to succeed you have to be a no limits person. With this years injury to my arms I am still on the road to recovery, slowly ticking my way back to strong but that’s ok, it’s given me time to work on my mind & the rest of my body. Most people have perfectly healthy bodies & unhealthy minds with limiting beliefs. I refuse to be one of them and in fact I have gotten to where I am today because my vision has always been much stronger then my circumstances. No matter what challenges you face, never ever give up on yourselves. If you can see it, if you can believe it than you can achieve it. 📷 @nicoleroundy @teamusa @usparalympics #liveinspired#livebeyondlimits#wisdomwednesday
