The Hunters Axe by Gränsfors-Bruks.
I love the axes made by Gränsfors-Bruks! They are exceptionally well made, with quality hickory handles, carbon steel, and true “axe-grind” or “sword-grind” edges.
I have several—this is one I carry in the truck during hunting season, though it’s small enough to pack if I had a mind to backpack. Small enough to be handy but large enough to use for larger jobs in a pinch, this model is larger than a “camp hatchet” but smaller than a forest axe.
This model has a “flay poll”, a slim, rounded and polished back that is used when skinning large game. Some day I’ll use this on a moose!
And Yes! It’s will shave!

My buddy Kevin @estelawilded posted pics of his @exotac titanLIGHT so I figured I would be a copycat. I’ve always carried a lighter. First a Zippo, which I quit carrying because it leaked. Then a Bic which is pretty solid. The TitanLIGHT has been in my pocket since I got it. It’s outstanding. I even dropped it in the water while it was open and lit while taking photos. It was back up and running within 6 minutes. I’ll continue to have Bics as backups but this will be my main lighter for the woods and edc until exoTAC makes a better one! #exotac#titanlight#bluemountainbushcraftandoutdoors#firecraft#ruggedlighter ##woodstool#woodsman#lighter
