If you are struggling to grow your biceps, you may be overusing secondary muscles. The @theonlinecoach shows an example of a pinned value unpinned elbow. The unpinned elbow can cause secondary muscles like the front delts, back, and even possibly forearm engagement in the bicep curl. The goal is to place as much tension on the biceps as possible, this is accomplished easier by pinning the elbows by the side and focusing on only moving the forearm while contracting and squeezing the bicep. Next time you curl make sure to pin your elbows for a better bicep contraction.

✅This exercise is probably my favorite for hamstrings, as it allows a total range of motion with a good stretch, while also being able to get some solid overload. While I do recommend bringing the dumbbells as low as possible for a complete stretch, it is not worth it if that means compromising your lower back. I would say once you feel that hamstring completely stretched, stop, but remember this will vary for different people. For me that is about when my Dumbbells get a bit lower than my knee -
💯Going all the way down to “touch your toes” if that means completely rounding your lower back is not worth the extra range of motion. My first few times trying this exercise I had no idea I had to keep my lower back tight and I looked a lot like the guy on the left, ultimately leading to some lower back injuries
🔥A good idea would be to film yourself doing exercises that are either new or maybe for some reason feel uncomfortable. By assessing the film you may find some errors in your form that need correcting sooner than later

🚨Flexing the target muscle in between sets to increase hyperemia. Muscle growth is ALL ABOUT getting the best pump possible and staying in it for as long as possible. Thats what ultimately leads to an increase in lean muscle mass. Flexing the target muscles in between sets increases the pump tenfold and augments muscle growth. @schwarzenegger knew this decades ago. If you aren't doing this you're shorting yourself of faster growth, more productive gym time, and a better pump 💪🏽
